It is nice to see Micheal say this. I wouldn’t be calling Sarah the next coming of Ronald Reagan yet, but she has made a tremendous first impression. In one swoop, the conservative Reagan movement went from being dead by all media accounts, to very much alive.

I have to constantly remind myself that the more you want something the easier it is to convince yourself you've found it! We want another RR so badly that I fear we are in danger of buying into someone too easily. I am VERY impressed with Sarah Palin, the to the point I am pretty sure she is “The Real McCoy”, but I would hasten to urge patience. As desperately as we seek a new RR it would be very bad for us to buy into someone prematurely.

I find Michael Reagan's views on Sarah to be quite encouraging and will certainly give it credence in my search for the new RR. But even close relatives can be too quick to jump on the bandwagon.

I pray, literally, that she is everything she seems to be at this stage of the game!

From what I've seen so far, even if Sarah isn't the new RR, she will certainly do the job until the real one comes along!

Palin is good - but she isn’t battle-tested at the National level yet. Thatcher, Reagan, everyone knew who they were, and they earned their reputation after doing battle at the national level Reagan/Thatcher had failures, and also many more successes and only when we were able to add these up, did we know they were great.

Palin is a fresh-face, and we are investing her with a lot of our hopes. Her challenge now is not to let the campaign to smear her take hold. So far, she has beaten it back.

Sarah was great, but it was in fact McCain who reminded me of Reagan in his speech last night, especially with the crescendo finale. Wow. They may the perfect good cop, bad cop (with her turning the tables there). McCain has the experience and deserves to be President. I’m sure he’ll do a fine job grooming Sarah over his tenure.

I am pissed and not just a little.

I wouldn't necessarily call her another Dutch Reagan just yet but I would say she is close to Lady Thatcher status.

Already, The Drudge Report is reporting that detractors like Oprah are showing their true racists colors and fanatical bias for Obama by blocking an appearance by Palin on her show.

It looks like from the MSM view that only people with white skins can be biased.

Oprah's racist actions towards Palin seems to be getting a pass by those hypocritical caring and loving left wing radical liberals with White Guilt.

Right now the polls are saying Palin is one of the most popular woman in the United States and possibly in the world and is fast approaching rock star status.

Palin gives hope to millions, my friends in South America are writing with nothing but glowing remarks for her campaign.

We as Conservatives will have to keep a strong vigilance because her detractors in the MSM and Democrat party will try to destroy her with false rumors, innuendo and vicious acts, shes a woman and oh yes did you know, she's Caucasian.

I like what I have seen relative to Sarah Palin...

...But this endorsement is meaningless and makes me wonder. Jr. has been a liberal media darling doofus for too long.

“In one blockbuster of a speech, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin resurrected my Dad’s indomitable spirit and sent it soaring above the convention center, shooting shock waves through the cynical media’s assigned spaces and electrifying the huge audience with the kind of inspiring rhetoric we haven’t heard since my Dad left the scene.”

I agree.

Thank You, Father for bringing Sarah Palin forth ...
please protect and shield her from the wiles and fiery darts of satan and his minions. In Jesus name I pray. Honor, praise and glory to You always. Amen.

This guy is so lucky. Basically, he’s the only one who could write this article. It’s funny, but I don’t see Chelsea Clinton writing an article like this 30 years from now.

.

.

Here’s how I’ve been bumping Palin/Obama threads. Sung to the tune of “Oh! Susanna, don’t you cry for me.” .... “Oh, no Bama, please don’t lie to me... for I’m off to Free Republic with a laptop on my knee.”

I come from Minnesota with my laptop on my knee; | I’m goin’ to Free Republic my true love for to see. | It rained all night the day I left, | the weather it was dry; | The sun so hot I froze to death, | Obama don’t you lie. | | Oh! No Bama, don’t you lie to me; | I come from Minnesota, with my laptop on my knee.

I had a dream the other night, | When everything was still; | I thought I saw Obama dear, | A-coming for The Hill. | The smearing lie was in Duluth, | The tear was in his eye, | Said I, I’m coming for the truth | Obama don’t you lie. | | Oh! No Bama, don’t you lie to me; | I’m off to Free Republic, | with my laptop on my knee.

I fight in my pajamas, | It’s plain for all to see. | I aim to be the next Buckhead; | The media all hate me. | I fell in love with Sarah | When my sister bit a moose. | The Guvnor’s family ate it up | And then they set it loose. | | Oh! No Bama, don’t you lie to me; | I’m off to Free Republic, | with my laptop on my knee.

She loves her sons, she likes her guns, | and Triggernometry. | The media will jump the shark | When Juan makes history. | Well, JimRob knows she’ll pave the trolls | So controversially, | And Berg will knock Obama down | With friends of Hillary. | | Oh! No Bama, don’t you lie to me; | I’m off to Free Republic with a laptop on my knee.

I soon will be in Hawaii, | And then I’ll look all ‘round, | And when I find his birth record, | I’ll fall upon the ground. | But if I do not find it, | This Freeper’ll surely die, | And when I’m dead and buried, | Obama don’t you lie. | | Oh! No Bama, don’t you cry for me; | I’m off to Free Republic with a laptop on my knee.

I compare her as a diamond and obama quartz.

Style over substance. He is like a quartz rock. Neat looking on the outside with a dynamic pattern. But if you crack it, like Palin did, it virtually disintegrates into a chaotic mess.

Palin is a diamond. Pretty, clear and extremely tough if not impossible to break.

Our country is a proverbial ring finger. When comes time to dress this finger, what do people put on it?

"As hard as you might try, you won't find that kind of plain-spoken, down-to-earth, self-reliant American in the upper ranks of the liberal-infested, elitist Democratic Party, or in the Obama campaign."

SO TRUE!
