The libs were dumb. The smart thing to have done would have been to ignore Sarah completely, to downplay her and not give any notice. But they couldn't help themselves and as they say, the rest is history!

the problem with the democrat attack is,
palin and her family look like us; she’s an ordinary person.

Great stuff. The media has eaten itself alive this time. They tried to BORK the wrong person and got themselves BONKED in the process.

Fortunately, the O’mama campaign doesn’t read TownHall.com
Isn’t it interesting that Obama (er, Ophra) REFUSES to put Palin on the biggest women’s show on TV? (Well, used to be biggest women’s show on TV?)

Great read - thank you. May Palin continue to be just what she appears, and has been so far. Prayers for her and her family - they will need them.

helping Sarah Palin pull an audience of over 37 million viewers (38 million watched Obama) There are reports out now that 40 million watched Sarah Palin's speech.

The problem that the media is having is that if they did not attack Gov. Palin’s family, they would have nothing.

I heard that many Obama campaign staffers actually were laughing when they found out McCain picked Palin.
They aren’t laughing anymore.

The attacks on Palin and her family were meant to bully her, belittle her and take her out of the equation. Instead they produced possibly the biggest blowback in political convention history, helping Sarah Palin pull an audience of over 37 million viewers (38 million watched Obama).I would be willing to bet that more people WATCHED Palin's speech than Obama's and more importantly, more people LISTENED to Palin's speech.
BTW did Biden even give a speech? I thought I might have watched it, but I can't remember.

Sarah Palin’s speech was probably the least shrill speech I have ever heard. And funny when a woman criticizes, it’s “shrill”.
