Community organizer? Somehow I’m picturing a carpenter’s son spending his free time helping dad measure twice and cut once, not bravely leading illegals from voting site to voting site to show them how to give 110% in America (voter turnout, that is).

Not only were they "community organizers", they were passionate about change, and about helping the little guy being victimized. They were also men of far reaching vision and leadership.

So many things to be said, so little time. I’m sure there was at least one “community organizer” in that crowd. ;-)
Given that analogy, if I had to chose someone as a competent Prefect of Rome, I’d still chose Pilate. Of course I would preface the choice by saying: Jesus is a very gifted young man and an eloquent speaker but he has very little experience and a bit of a Messianic complex.

Jesus in His 3 year ministry was a roamer arounder...dumping over the money changers tables in the temple makes Jesus more of a reformer of corruption in that particular incident.

Besides Putin fits that far better than Obama at this point at least. A large percentage in and near Russia believe him to be the Antichrist. The bible indicates Russia (definitely not America). Russia is closely allied with Syria and Iran. Putin is most like the richest man in the world and getting far richer by the minute.
Time will tell I suppose.
