Obama Suddenly Riled
SF Gate ^

Posted on 09/04/2008 5:36:21 PM PDT by Chet 99

Sen. Barack Obama ditched his normal languid cool today, punching back at Gov. Sarah Palin as he spoke with reporters in York, Pa, hotly defending his work as a community organizer. He said he assumes Palin "wants to be treated same way guys want to be treated, which means their records are under scrutinty. I've been through this for 19 months. She's been through it, what four days?"

Obama's hackles were clearly raised by Palin's dismissal of his community organizing --a response to his earlier dismissal of her record as a small-town mayor. "Why would that kind of work be ridiculed?" Obama said. "Who are they fighting for?" The idea that community organizing is not relevant to the presidency, he said, just shows why Republicans "are out of touch and don't get it."

Nice symbolism - I believe Palin, an obvious Christian, is going to be the fish that devours zerObama.

Every pimp in Chicago is a “community organizer”.

Liberalism, collectivism, democrats,

all have a parasitic ideology. That’s what they are - parasites.

"The American people need change and want change...
The man can't be that dense!
SOME, not many, and certainly not most, may want change, but none of us need the change to Socialism you have envisioned for the American people!
You're not even brave enough to put it in words directly, but, rather, you choose to tap dance and mince words. That's pathetic, but to be expected!
...and I'm in the best position to do it," Obama said.
You've got an awful big ego there, buddy boy! I sure will enjoy your crash landing in a few months.

I heard on Glen Beck tonight that Obama torpedoed a liberal democratic reform candidate to protect his bosses and turf in Chi town. Then went after a Republican that was backed by both Democrats and republicans to try to bring some reform to Chicago. Anybody else know anything about this?

I still don’t know what the “F” a community organizer is. Is it a job? Do you get paid? Who pays you? What is the product? How is success or failure measured? Is a P&L sheet involved? Does it involve employees?

I don’t get people that suck like leeches off the tit of others productivity and claim to contribute value to the community. I put a whole lot of people in that camp and am sure that I would make a whole lot of people angry if I started making a list.

"The idea that community organizing is not relevant to the presidency, he said, just shows why Republicans "are out of touch and don't get it."

It would be nice if this writer, and Obama, would actually define the duties of a "community organizer" and thus dispel Gov. Palin's accusation. They can't because "community organizer" is as fluid of a concept as "social justice". The goal can never be achieved, the mission can never be satisfied because the definition has no finality.

In Chicago Community Organizer is an Extortionist and someone who builds a political organization with taxpayer money. They threaten businesses and are paid protection money just like the Mob. They register and vote fraudulent voters paying them off with booze and cigarettes. ACORN should be indicted under the RICO act.

Check the Sopranos for how a “community organizer” works. It had several episodes demonstrating how these crooks scam the taxpayer.

Forty percent of ACORN’S money comes from the US taxpayer.

"(I still really dislike the GOP leadership and its cowardice. I'm just saying that they've got this situation playing perfectly.)"

Both Bush and McCain have run top-notch Presidential campaigns...clearly staffed with our A-Team'ers. It's very nice to see.

It's the compromises required to pass legislation that resembles sausage so much that it's not as pretty to see.

...but for campaigning...very nice to see.

So, Obama thinks being a community agitator is equivalent to being a mayor and running a campaign is experience enough to qualify for being president?

“their records are under scrutinty. I’ve been through this for 19 months.”

How has his association with terrorists and America-haters been scrutinized? The MSM hate America, and they support their chosen candidate.

That’s a really good question. Many community activists get their funds from governments and churches, but maybe Geo. Soros has his hand in this.

Change was the new term used in corporate america for the past 5 years.

"Change agents" brought "change strategies" and "change management" to the business lexicon. C-levels ran to get the latest business books on change. They built powerpoints about change, moving cheese, and organizational change to be shared with staffers who eagerly awaited the next big "change."

Obama is just rehashing those concepts. Exciting at first, but quickly wears off when there is nothing behind the hype. Businesses are finding there are folks who can talk change and folks who can deliver.
