What the media will now do to Palin.

The disgusting, savage onslaught that the Democrats and the media unleashed against Sarah Palin, her children, and her husband will, as has been said by many, go down as one of the more disgusting episodes in American political history.
And until the media, Hollywood, and academia are done revising history so that it never happened—that should take about 15 years or so—it will be remembered, and it will do damage to the press.
So how do they recover? How do they accomplish their mission in this environment?
They hate Sarah Palin with a burning passion, but they know they cannot continue attacking her children. There is already a backlash, and it would get a lot worse and more general if they were to continue.
She totally shut their calumnious, hate-filled mouths last night, with her historic and amazing speech. There's no way they can continue their assault so openly.
So how do they harm her without doing so in such a full-throated onslaught? How do they attempt to tarnish her in the eyes of the American people...

The best way to fight back is use their leftist tactics against them. They don’t know how to respond to that and will usually respond by screaming “Nazis, Nazis!” I’ve seen it so many times. Protest Warrior is good at using leftist tactics against the left. I assume they are still around.

Actually, they DO hate Sarah. Not because of Sarah herself - they don't know her - but because of what she represents. She represents a proudly self-reliant, proudly faithful, proudly American woman from a small town who won't kowtow to the "wisdom" of her obvious superiors in the liberal elite, and who, in fact, disdains them. She knows all about the liberal/uber-feminist stance on issues, and she doesn't subscribe to one bit of it. They simply cannot believe that she even exists, let alone that she's wildly popular. It is so far from their worldview, so close to what Reagan was, that they despise her - because for them Reagan meant powerlessness and irrelevance, even belittlement. She is a complete shock to them, like a Cat 5 Hurricane Sarah hitting them out of a clear, blue sky with no warning. Cognitive dissonance, that's what this is for them, and they ain't dealing well with it.
Disgusting but not quite as bad as Oliphant’s infamous portrayal of Condi Rice.
Won’t stick. Palin has a sweet smile (which she knows how to use), a harmless accent, and looks like the smoking hot librarian that made the boys sweat.
