The best thing about this speech: she didn't apologize for being a conservative--or coming from a small town.
Or anything else.
The MSM and the Left were right to fear and attack her. Just as conservatives have every right to cheer and defend her. And we will!

It was in Saint Paul, MN not Minneapolis, MN. I wish they would get it right.

"They love their country, in good times and bad, and they're always proud of America."
I liked that line. I don't think Michelle Obama liked it though. (Hee hee hee)

Katie Couric kept referring to Palin as the governor of Arkansas! She can't get the bad taste of him out of her mouth.

In politics, there are some candidates who use change to promote their careers. And then there are those, like John McCain, who use their careers to promote change. ZING!

Here is a quote from DICK MORRIS moments ago in a radio interview.
“She (Palin) can tell a guy to go to Hell so artfully, he looks forward to the trip.”

Just sent the following to the McCain campaign:
Subject: Gov. Palin’s Speech
Text: To use a phrase I’m sure the Governor is familiar with...nothin but net!

She (Palin) can tell a guy to go to Hell so artfully, he looks forward to the trip.
That is an old line that I heard 30 years ago
Tact is the ability to tell someone to go to in a way that they can't wait to take the trip

Everybody here has about the same opinion as I did! As our photoshop guy said (ex-Hells Angel-turned-mechanic) She didn't hit a home run, she hit a dozen! I thought I was listening to Reagan! Now, I'm excited!" (Sorry about the Minneapolis mixup....I'll change it in the future. Thanx.)

This is the difference between the DNCC and the RNCC. There are so many memorable lines from these speeches.
Can anyone remember something from Obama’s speech? (I know we’ve memorized the context because we’ve heard the same thing for the past 30 years from the Dems.)

I was born in 1951 and have been a Republican and political junkie since 1960. The only event I have seen comparable to Palin’s speech last night was the televised national address Ronald Reagan gave just before Barry Goldwater went down in flames in 1964. I knew when I saw that speech that Reagan would lead us forward. Palin made me feel that way last night.
