Mother of the Year
Like a mother lion protecting her cub.
LOL - I can relate. I watched the speech before work this morning and had to keep drying my eyes, while also cheering and laughing. Then, I had to get composed before walking out the door.
That speech was inspiring.
Her baby has more IQ points and hair than Joe Biden.
I don’t mind telling you that when she walked on stage my eyes were running tonight. This is an American Original, and it’s been many years since we’ve had one.
I LOVE how she referred to him - “...And in April, my husband Todd and I welcomed our littlest one into the world, a perfectly beautiful baby boy named Trig.”
Yep - she’s the real deal. I sincerely believe that GOD has a plan for her (and our nation).
Did you see during the speech when the camera cut to the young daughter holding the baby and picking something off of his face? You had to just smile and melt seeing that.
For my desktop!
I posted the lyrics to Rush’s “By-Tor and the Snow Dog” on a couple of other threads - though it was apt after such a strong speech. (I’m asumming your moniker is in reference to Geddy’s album? If not - I’m REALLY embarrassed!)
Well put. It’s been a long time since I had genuine hope, and now I have it, in spades.
Thank you, Sarah Palin. Thank you John McCain for an excellent selection.
Yes and when she wet his hair with spit on her hand...classic moment in political and television history.
lovely, lovely, lovely. Yes the real thing.
God bless John McCain and thank the Almighty for the Palin’s.
I am inspired more than I ever thought I could be. I never was a McCain fan politically...but I have to say that this convention has made me look at him in a totally different light as well. The stories of his torture were things I had heard and read about...but Fred Thompson’s speech the other night made it all come together for me.
The bottom line is he is the real deal as well...do I agree with him on every issue? No. But then again I don’t with anyone...even my wife.
Who am I to judge a hero?
McCain and Palin have restored my belief and faith in the GOP again and even more importantly...my country.
Of course...just check my homepage... ;)
Agreed
Yeah - I noticed that AFTER I posted! (However, I am getting better at reading through a thread and THEN posting!)
Thanks for the photo.
KNOCK OUT!!!
You know what? She's "ALL THAT"...
This woman from Wasilla has changed everything overnight.
Right now, Obama is hiding in his underground bunker sweating. His oberleutnants are standing in the corner, looking at each other and wondering what to say. Obama's giving orders but none of them are making any sense. "We need an attack ad on her family! Target her daughter, the 17Yo one! No, wait, even better the child with down's syndrome!"
One of the campaign officers steps forward "But sir, that credibility doesn't exist..."
Altogether a very tough night for the "messiah"...
