I think she asked Greta why her husband has jumped the ship and gone over to Mccain.

Ha! Thanks, I have been over at the light side for quite some time, I just lurk. I spent 18 hours here straight during the 2004 elections. I was too chicken to get the election results on TV so I stayed on the Freep thread and wouldn't go to the television until they called Ohio for Bush and the Freepers announced it.

I have a feeling I may be doing that again this year!!

Strategic Vision Pollster Predicted Palin VP Pick last year
newxmax ^ http://www.newsmax.com/insidecover/Pollster_Predicted_Palin_/2008/08/30/126415.html?utm_medium=RSS

David E. Johnson, CEO of Strategic Vision, LLC accurately predicted the presidential nomination of Arizona Senator John McCain in 2007 on POTUS Radio when all political experts had written McCain’s obituary.

Johnson also predicted that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin would be McCain’s running mate in March 2007.

Johnson reiterated that Palin would be the candidate following Barack Obama’s selection of Joseph Biden as his running mate.

Johnson based his predictions upon polling done by Strategic Vision, LLC in key battleground states and his own political expertise of over twenty years.

“Based upon our polling in key battleground states in 2007 and early 2008, all indicators pointed to John McCain as the only plausible Republican presidential nominee,” said David E. Johnson, CEO of Strategic Vision, LLC. “Our polling showed that McCain was the second choice of the other candidate’s supporters particularly in Florida which really made McCain’s nomination possible.

Our polling in 2008 have shown that Barack Obama underperforms among female voters particularly in the states of Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin that provides an opening for Senator McCain,” continued Johnson.

“Additionally, John McCain has a unique opportunity to present the future of the Republican Party in his vice presidential selection.

All of this indicated a strong dedicated conservative that would be outside of the box and Sarah Palin headed that list along with her appeal to social and fiscal conservatives and her moving life story.

Strategic Vision polling in the key battleground states of Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Florida, and non-traditional battleground states such as New Jersey indicate that 25% to 35% of Hillary Clinton supporters will not vote for Barack Obama and might consider voting for John McCain based upon his running mate.

Fauxbama

Good one. I think I'll use that in spoken conversation as an excellent counter point to zerObama in print.

Nice double pun as he's both a Foe and a Faux...

.. Lets face it... Edwards has an affair and a love child and the press ignore it, but Palin’s daughter is pregnant, and they can’t wait to humiliate a 17 year old girl to get at the Republican?

Edwards??? zerObama is a 'love child' too. His parents didn't marry (if they did at all-no records) until Stanley Ann was 3 months preggers.

And, I'll be honest with you, McCain hadn't been giving me that big a reason prior to the Palin pick.

Nor I. I've made no secret of it either.

Liberal women are right to be appalled at how Palin and her family have been treated. They know that this could be any of them should they ever criticize their "friends" in the Democrat party.

The fact is that the DNC gets really hot and bothered when its captive constituencies show a little philosophical independence.

Our Magic Numbers for victory in November are roughly:

92% GOP
18% RAT
45% Indie

Those are tough targets to hit, but I think Palin gives us a decent chance of doing it. That is the reason the MSM is so frenzied in their attacks.

Lots of Democrat-voting women are hopping mad about this.

Did you happen to see Mika Bryzenski(sp) on Morning Joe this morning? She's pretty upset about all of it. Or at least she's claiming to be. I think she's more upset than Joe is.

I sure would like to think that. But remember, the election is still two months away, which is a long time in politics.

I think a lot of them will have second thoughts, confess their ‘errors’, and return to the path of unrighteousness before the election. They are, after all, Democrats.

Reading YOUR tagline made me think of a new one:

Sarah Palin might be hotter even than Megyn Kelly.

Yep. A lot can happen in two months.

Suppose a Hillary!™ cat's paw releases Obama's KENYAN birth certificate.

Obama out permanently Biden now in the top slot, and he needs a ViPer?

Who better than the smartest woman in America, the selfsame woman who nearly earned the top slot all by herself?

And with McCain-Feingold in effect and a rabidly pro-anything-clinton press, it would be challenging to spread the truth about her in time for the elections.

No kidding...I am sure Mort was very surprised not only by the panel refuting him but also the unexpected and well deserved smackdown from Bill Kristol. I've never seen Kristol that passionate before.

The reaction seems to lightly suggest that perhaps some on the panel have sympathy for Palin based on their personal experiences. If that's true I think you'll see a lot of women (moms) and men (dads) who resent the media piling on. It's too soon to tell but if she knocks it out of the park tonight, her star power will resonate with the electorate.

No, having them stay home is better. If they show up and vote for Palin, they will then likely vote Dem for the rest of the ballot. If they stay home, that helps us in all the other 2008 races.

Normally I would agree, but the behavior of a large portion of the Dem leadership has been so phenomenally offensive and revolting that we may have a new crop of GOP voters from the fallout. The crossover Dems may decide to vote out all the gross Dem incumbents. I just hope a little bit of Sarah rubs off on our old guard and they don't take the added support as license to waste our tax dollars as if they were Big Gov't Dems.

The answer to "McCain didn't vet Palin" is: So you think her family issues should have led McCain to disqualify her? Because, isn't it possible that she was fully vetted and McCain knew all about this, and chose her anyway?

I have considered that scenario as well. It is just underhanded enough for Hillary to do that.

Here is another thought. If a Kenyan birth certificate for Obama is found, take the image and alter it with Sarah Palin’s name and date of birth. Send it to the Daily Kos site and let them have a field day screaming about how Sarah Palin is not qualified becasue she was born in Kenya and here is the proof! Some of them would bite, and I am sure some of the lame brain media would also bite. (Campbell Brown, are you listening?)
