Thanks to this B-list actor for providing the Hollyweird take on military service and honor.
Apparently he is unaware that the Code of Conduct precludes taking parole or special favors from the enemy.

This is what comes from pretending to be other people for a living.

After hearing the details of John McCain being shot down during Fred Thompson's speech last night, how this POS could even DARE to speak these words....I'm speechless.
It's shocking how disrespectful some people can be.

That's what you're supposed to do as a prisoner of warCould someone please help me? I've forgotten which of the military academies Mr. Modine was a graduate.
I hope he is invited to FOX News to repeat his comments. I think we need to give this guy a big microphone. I want everyone to hear this.

I don't remember this guy.
Did he play one of the cute little robots in Star Wars?

The media has apparently been rummaging through the long list of washed up brain dead actors looking for some idiotic slander about Super-Hero McCain. They found this no-name fool.

Matthew Modine should refrain from political analysis and continue burnishing his legacy with high-quality films like Cutthroat Island and Transporter 2.

“...he got shot down three times!” said Modine, taking on one of McCain’s most lauded personal accomplishments. “That’s not success!”
On the contrary. Captain John S. McCain III very skillfully piloted his aircraft directly into a barrage arising from below, not once but THREE times, and in two of them, managed to scramble out of harm’s way (mostly) and return to his squadron. The last time was a little tougher, as he had to deal with some rather extreme ruffians for several years before he could make it back.
But he made it back.

Here’s how it really went down.
Modine - “I mean, he got shot down three times!”
Reporter - “Whatever. Just make my Big Mac, I’ve got things to do.”

(Come and take it.)
"And he wasn't even a good prisoner of war," said Modine. "He should have left as soon as he could. That's what you're supposed to do as a prisoner of war: Leave when you can. It defeats the enemy. It makes them look bad and it weakens them."Wrong answer sh*t-for-brains.
