This caller hit it on the head. I lot of them have had abortions and found the career and cash didn’t make their lives complete.

Some go from guy to guy ala Sex in the City, and still wish for the fairytale without sacrifice or responsibility... they want to be honorary males.

Maybe some of the men have procured abortions for women, don’t know the kids they have out there, or aren’t taking care of the children they are responsible for.

I had a big discussion with some guys waiting for a script at the VA, you would have been shocked re: how they felt about the children they’ve left behind, didn’t know if they left behind and how they regretted many life decisions in their older age. It was shocking because it just poured out and I never expected them to comment much. Some told me this was the first time he’d talked about it and others agreed and said it was good to be able to. Truly amazing. Believe it or not, some of these seasoned vets now go to Silent No More male meetings.
