Mitchell graduated with a B.A. in English literature from the University of Pennsylvania in 1967.

Interesting coincidence--I have a B.A. in English Lit from the U. of Oregon. But I added an M.A. in Computer Resource Management some years later, to make myself more employable and promotable. So I guess I should tell Andrea Mitchell that women more educated than she become conservatives!
