The Sarah Palin Woman
Sarah Palin was part of her family business, a community leader, and became an outstanding political leader. She is star in every area, something people who knew her in each role quickly recognized.
She is the rare talent who can navigate all three worlds (social, business, and government) and can flourish.
She is a quick study and brings to each role the insights gained from other spheres of success. There are truths mothers learn and she learned them well. There are things you learn doing hard physical labor in a family business and she learned those. There are vital insights you gain running social organizations that are not centered in profit and Palin grasped those. There is something you gain when you are the chief executive of a state larger than most nations and Palin flourished there.
Based only on her political experience, Palin would commend herself to America, but that is not all she is. To pretend that this is so is to denigrate the importance of the work of millions of Americans, most of them women. Not all these women can move from one area to another as Palin has done, but they will know how blessed we are to have in Palin a woman who can do so.
Palin brings the home-truths to government, but also governs well. Her government experience is vital to indicate to us that she is ready for this bigger government job, but her outstanding success in civic, family, and business areas should not be discounted or viewed with a patronizing attitude. She is a person whose life did not consist merely of being an outstanding community leader, family leader, and business leader, but it includes success in all those roles with proven competence in governance.

John McCain will be a fine President. He will hand over the helm to Sarah Palin in 2016, who will also be an outstanding President.
But what is his alternative? He could compare himself to McCain -- but McCain is a war hero, a member of the senate for 36 years, with a track record of actually reaching across the aisle and getting real things accomplished.
If Obama compares himself to McCain, he will come out looking ... well ... foolish.
And this is from the collective wit and wisdom that is predisposed to NOT like any Republican.
Maybe the playing field has been leveled a little. Or just maybe, we may expect (perhaps not anytime soon, though) that the negotiation through that playing field be at least as difficult for liberal Democrats as it has been all this while for conservatives.
Governor Sarah Palin had me at “Hello”, and nothing since has shaken that perception in the least.
didn’t he say only 1 term?
McCain
Palin
Palin
Jindal
Jindal
That's gets us to 2028.
OBAMA INTERVIEW ON CNN Monday, 9/1/08 - Responds to critics about lack of executive experience.

Uh, uh, well, uh, Wa-silly is small and my campaign is really big - we have uh 3x the budget of the small town she was mayor, so, uh, well OH, and I ..uh...passed some laws after Katrina. Aren’t I way more qualified than a governor?
I hope not. That’s something only a loser would say. Americans want a winner
As I watched the announcement of Sarah Palin, I was doing a victory dance in my kitchen and ‘yessing’ all over the place. I here are a few thoughts I’ve had since then.
Sarah Palin adds power to the Republican ticket and our country in ways, some of which, I havent heard mentioned.
She appeals to more than Evangelicals.
She is a woman (obviously).
She is a strong woman.
She is a smart woman.
She is an ethical woman (which should not be the property of only the God-fearing);
She is an attractive woman;
She is a do-er of good deeds;
She is able to lead with an amazing executive ability;
She is able to set an example for families and individualsnot just women; and IMPORTANTLY
She is a woman who can relate to the problems of ordinary life, which some leaders have lost or never had.
Just a few thoughts on why Sarah has and will continue to have the support of true Americans.
Nuts. I was hoping to see FRed in there somewhere.
But, I’d be happy with what you have.
I would love to see that sequence, too! McCain, Palin twice, then Bobby Jindal twice! Perfect!
... looking ... well ... foolish.
I think I see a pattern developing.

Just a few thoughts from an ordinary U.S. citizen.
I heard from a friend that an email got sent from a local BO organizer also referring to “Wa-silly.”
That just tells me that they are desperate and scared.
With maybe a term for old Dick Lugar in there somewhere.
I want Sarah’s daughter Piper running for President by then.
There is one self-assured young lady, and she is only going to be more and more like her mother as she gets older.
Well, liberals have come up with another reason Palin is too inexperienced. She`s never run for (or been a member of) the Senate or run for President!
Ping in honor of Renaissance women everywhere!
Kind of like our Renaissance man -- Mitt.
I have a great deal of admiration for Sarah Palin. But she couldn’t have done it without a good man standing at her side. Kudos to BOTH of them!
After age 40 she ran a marathon in less than 4 hours...quite an accomplishment.
That would be your official 26.2 mile marathon.
So by my way of grading “athletes” she is a good female athlete.
