While the main stream media is trying to make an issue out of the pregnancy of Sarah Palin's daughter, John McCain's spokesperson Nicole Wallace expertly handled pointed and aggressive questions from Diane Sawyer and Meredith Viera on two morning shows. Diane and Meredith kept trying to create controversy and Nicole expertly put them in their place. Hurray to her. It's about time those being questioned fight back with pointed responses of their own.
Exactly. As Rush said last week...'in their efforts to destroy her, they will destroy themselves'.

I don’t have the transcript but they kept ranting on about abstinence, why McCain and Palin didn’t divulge the pregnancy immediately, was Palin property vetted at a VP candidate, etc. Wallace firmly noted how vicious the treatment of the Palin family has been and that it’s “your” reporters who are in Alaska trying to dig up any dirt they can against the family (paraphrasing). I was impressed with Ms. Wallace.
i encourage the MSM and you obama supporters to keep trashing the mother who is sending one kid off to war, has a second kid with downs syndrome, and now a third who is pregnant...get a good giggle you scumbags

I love the part where Ms. Wallace said . . .All the reporters up in Alaska digging up any and all dirt on Sarah AND her children. She said she hadn’t seen anything like this since Princess Diana.
Someone PLEASE get to the McCain Campaign and have them bench Tucker Bounds ... saw him with Campbell Brown yesterday and Larry King on Thursday night ... he is REALLY weak ... send email and make calls to campaign to get a first stringer to fill his spot!
The Republicans were just waiting for the dims and their mouthpieces in the media to walk right into this kill box.
Just like they did with Hurricane Gustav and just as they are going to do on the "experience issue" with someone who leads 17,000 employes in an $8 Billion enterprise with a $1.2 Billion surplus (2007 numbers, your mileage may vary) and a GDP of $42 Billion. When you are comparing your number 1 with our number 2 on experience, you are losing.
If the stakes weren't so serious, and the dims so unlikeable, I could almost feel sympathy for them. Just like a Wile E. Coyote cartoon, the audience can see the next catastrophe coming from a long way away, and the dims and the media, like Wile, have a look of utter disbelief on their faces as they stand amidst the wreckage.
I agree that the McCain team knew that once this can of worms was opened, Obama’s own illegitimacy as a child would be fair game.
Sorry for Diane and Merideth, it seemed their horns began to show, especially Diane’s. It is not about abstinance only

Nicole Wallace is a fine spokesperson. Tucker Bounds is pathetic. McCain needs to dump him. He let Campbell Brown eat him for lunch yesterday.
I saw that as well. Bounds was pathetic. Anyone who lets Campbell Brown best them is not competent to be a spokesman for anything.

To the press and others worms: Leave the girl alone!!! I hope you are happy humiliating her like that. She is no different than any other girl at that age finding herself in the same position.
