John Kerry says Obama's national security experience consists of a trip
youtube ^ | 8-31-2008 | ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos

Posted on 09/01/2008 10:49:31 AM PDT by UnwashedPeasant

Starting at 2:39, on youtube clip of ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos, August 31, 2008:

On Governer Sarah Palin:

KERRY: ...You know, she may be — I mean, I’m sure she’s a terrific person. I’m not attacking her. I think John McCain’s judgment is once again put at issue, because he’s chosen somebody who clearly does not meet the national security threshold, who is not ready to be president tomorrow. And there’s just no way to...

STEPHANOPOULOS: You heard Senator Graham, though. He said that she has more experience than Senator Obama.

KERRY: That’s just ridiculous on its face. I mean, John — you know, Barack Obama has been in the United States Senate. He has not been absent more than he’s been there. She’s been a governor for, what, the two years now, Barack Obama and the four years?

But, moreover, Barack Obama has traveled abroad. Look at the trip Barack Obama took. I mean, it is remarkable to me that the Republicans would try to denigrate a trip that a candidate for president takes where he attracts more — more attention, more support, if you will, than a sitting president of the United States of America.

That’s what you need in leadership for a president....

By this standard, Obama's qualifications are once again eclipsed by Britney Spears. I mean, did you see her last trip to Europe where she attracted more — more attention, more support, if you will, than a sitting president of the United States of America.

That’s what you need in leadership for a president....

Baraq Obama was out of town for 9 days, which was just 140 days less than John Kerry was in Viet Nam. Time stands still and means so much more when you are a liberal.

I am just amazed that the “Annointed One” and his advisors are so STUPID.

Don’t they realize that every time they get into a discussion of Palin’s vs Obama’s experience they fall right into McCain’s trap?

Hey, even all us clinging ignant red-necks in flyover country understand that.

Poor dumbass Kerry — proving once again that our Senate is inhabited by the lowest forms of life on the planet.

No wonder our enemies hold us in contempt — they look at our “leadership” and laugh their asses off.

The Congress is FULL of unaccomplished, ego driven, spoiled, blood sucking leaches without the good sense or ability to get and hold a REAL job.

And we - the foolish taxpayers and voters — elect these fools and compensate them far beyond their worth...

I read somewhere that Obama’s infamous speech in Germany was not a single event. It was a break between popular bands. In other words, the draw for Germans was the bands, not Obama.

The left think running for president qualifies you to be president.

For example, when Barry’s executive experience is questioned they offer that he has run his presidential campaign.

When asked about his foreign relations experience they mention his campaign trip to Asia and Europe.

In my life I’ve made 4 trips to Europe so by Senator Lurch’s theory I am vastly more qualified for President than Senator 0dumbo.

But, moreover, Barack Obama has traveled abroad. Look at the trip Barack Obama took.

Heck, look at all the tours Ann Margret took with Bob Hope.

And SHE met with the troops.

Obama’s foreign policy experience = giving a speech at a spot where Hitler gave a speech to adoring masses?

Senator Kerry may want to rethink what he said...

Yes, but the Dems have already proven they won't nominate a white woman.

Kerry’s national security experience consists of a couple months in Nam where he shot himself in the ass with a grenade launcher and a bunch of time in Hanoi trying to negotiate a U.S. surrender with the Communists.

Well, well...as per John Kerry, if a person attracts more attention than a sitting president, that gives him....uh...uh...just what? Still trying to figure that one out. By that same standard, though, Sarah should do okay!

I guess being Commander In Chief of the Alaska National Guard, which is why she was in Iraq in 2007, to visit Alaska's men in uniform, counts for nothing.

Let's see, what has Obama commanded, hey not even one committee hearing best I can tell. What's Obama been responsible for, that he wants to talk about. Surly he would prefer you not speak too loudly of his family life or father.

Gov Palin Commended the Alaska National Guard, Obama ran his mouth. Doesn't seem like the same level of responsibility if you ask me.

BTW, what has the gigolo ever done in his life that a rich wife's inheritance didn't provide?

More proof that John Kerry doesn’t have 23 years of Senate experience, but rather, one year of experience repeated 22 times.
