Tell me again how two teenagers with less than a high school education are going to support a baby without our tax dollars?I've heard that fishing pays well in Alaska.

To Obama, a baby is a punishment. To Palin, a baby is a blessing from God. That’s the difference.

Helluva job vetting there, McCain. Are you suggesting that pregnancy tests should be part of the vetting process? At any rate, I doubt that would would be a disqualifier.

CONGRATS SEOyc! You’re in for a lifetime of love.
Babies are a blessing not a curse.
Doesn’t matter how they come to be, doesn’t matter when they come to be, babies are God’s beautiful gift to this cynical world and I’ll bet that will be Sarah Palin’s point when addressing the issue.

Wasn't Senator Obama conceived out of wedlock? Barack Senior was already married to another Kenyan when he had relations with the Stanley Dunham resulting in pregnancy. When BO first came into the public limelight, I read Stanley was 15 or 16 when Barack was born. Now Obama's bio say Stanley was 18 when he was born. In 1960, what was the age of consent in Hawaii?(if that's where he was really conceived)

I don’t see how that would be possible in this situation. The media would absolutely HOUND the adoptive family.

Who would you have chosen that doesn't have “issues”? I say we need to support Palin and her family. Where I live we have a Baptist Maternity Home. A group of young girls from my church went there to bring them gifts for their unborn babies. I remember sitting around listening to their stories (parents kicked them out, etc.) and us just loving them and feeling the incredible presence of Jesus. Unconditional love is what Jesus is all about. I think we should be praying for the family and wishing them the best. They are human, just like the rest of us. I will not cast the first stone as my children have done many things I am not proud of but I love them with all of my heart.

You think its a GOOD thing that underage kids are having children outside of wedlock?First, weclome to FR.
Now, to answer your question:
Giving birth to, and raising a baby is the preferred alternative to murdering the child in the uterus.

Congratulations to Bristol on both the baby and the upcoming marriage.

However, there were rumors all over the internet all weekend long...Not rumors of this!
In fact, this announcement kills those rumors once and for all. Trig is four and a half months old, Bristol is five months pregnant. QED

If shes five months pregnant, there is a strong possibility that she could deliver before the election. The election is in two months. Unless there is a strong possibility that she is going to have a premature baby, then no it is not strong at all.
To: MinuteGal
This is how the Left will spin this.....that Sarah was too involved in politics to raise her daughter properly and attentively, that she still has fledgelings at home that should prompt her to be a stay-at-home mom, that a special needs baby needs a mother who isn't jetting around the country and the world as veep, that her "family values" persona is a sham, that.......I thought about this when I heard that Dad was at home in Wasilla with the youngest girl and the two older ones were in school in Juneau. And I worry that the boy who knocked her up did it just for "bragging rights" ("I did the guv's daughter") and is not that concerned about her welfare. Hope some serious counseling is done for both of them (by Moms and Dads or others) to avoid problems like what occurred with Sarah's sister and her trooper husband.

family values means more than having a perfect familyit means working together through adversity staying together supporting each other
