Democratic Congressman Robert Wexler of Florida lashed out Saturday at John McCain's choice of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate, accusing her of supporting "Nazi sympathizer" Pat Buchanan and branding the move an "affront to all Jewish Americans."
"John McCain's decision to select a vice presidential running mate that endorsed Pat Buchanan for president in 2000 is a direct affront to all Jewish Americans," said a statement by Wexler.

Besides, unleavened bread is required only during Pesach. "Enriched bread" can't be eaten with meat at all (when not eaten with meat it's okay). When is the "official Jewish community" going to turn its attention from "women's reproductive choice" to a real Jewish issue like enriched bread?

I hope that would come to pass, but, from what I hear, he doesn't know where "home" is.
Would anyone know what % Jewish his district is?
My parents live in the district (but are gentile). I heard one demographer tell me that the congressional district was 45% Jewish, and another tell me that it is actually 60% Jewish. I do know for a fact that it is the most heavily Jewish congressional district in the United States.
My parents neighbors will be returning Wexler to congress. He could get reelected if he flew a swastika, ate a pulled pork sandwich, and refused to call his mother.
Hope the McCain camp doesn’t let this ... human get away with this.
The Wiki site doesn’t give religious breakdown, but the Florida district that Wexler represents is 86.6% white, with a “Cook Partisan Voting Index” score of D +21. It is in the part of FL that is heavily Jewish, mostly older FDR worshippers who sincerely believe their right arm will fall off if they ever vote Republican.
The Maryland district where Wexler lives has similar demographics, maybe not so heavily Jewish, but lib Dems.
For what it’s worth, Sarah Palin has an Israeli flag on display in her Governor’s office.
