Conservative Family Values August 29th, 2008, 4:13 PM EDT

In her speech in Dayton today, Gov. Sarah Palin announced that she and her husband are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary, which means they were married on August 29, 1988.

On April 20, 1989 – less than eight months after they eloped – their first son, Track, was born.

I think I can guess the real reason why they eloped, and it wasn’t to save money on an expensive wedding.

I'd like to see the eldest son beat him to a pulp. Then let dad do ti gain. Hannity should not have anything to do with this filth. He should be fired. People should really rise up on this.

This merits the brass knuckle treatment. It’s just ghastly.

These people are for abortion but would stab Palin for doing the right thing?

Only in their eyes, "Doing the right thing" would have been killing 2 out of the Palin's five kids.

Nice, Alan. Attack the woman. That's gonna work.

Others have pointed it out already but I'd like to repeat it - the young feller Colmes just implied is a bastard is defending our country at the moment. I do wish Colmes would say it to his face, preferably where there aren't any cameras or security guards to save his sorry butt. Or to his Dad's face. Or to his Mom's. Hell, Track's little sister could thrash Colmes with one hand tied behind her back.

Hahahahahahaa... Alan is responding to why he removed his the blog post you found at wizbangblog and posted here for all of us to see.

It’s About Judgment, Stupid

Now it's not just about her heading home when her water broke, it's about the Palins' judgment for choosing to have another child as "middle-aged parents"/"older parents", and the fact that they risked having a Down's syndrome baby just by being older.

Colmes: '"If we are going to evaluate candidates based on life decisions: what churches they attend, what religions they practice, who their preachers are, who their friends are, all of which fall under the rubrick of “judgment”, then all of this is fair game. That argument cuts many ways so, to quote my least favorite president, “Bring it on.”'

Should anyone respond on his blog remind mr celebrity, that spellcheck and good grammar are his friends. This pathetic attempt to justify his disgusting smears against the Palins almost deserves its own thread.

MY God, Colmes just dug the hole even deeper with that comment.

I am glad I dont live in Colmes world where people are demeaned for having children later in life.

Colmes is vile. I visited his website (never again) and read some of his smarmy lies. Warning! There’s also a photo of Colmes that will gag you. Apparently, he’s proud of being so ugly. He repeats his attacks on Governor Palin’s Down’s Syndrome-afflicted child, while pretending he didn’t say it in the first place. He also makes excuses for the two RAT politicians laughing at the hurricane spoiling the GOP convention, claiming it was a “joke”. If Hannity was a man, he wouldn’t appear beside this disgusting creature.
