Conservative Family Values August 29th, 2008, 4:13 PM EDT
In her speech in Dayton today, Gov. Sarah Palin announced that she and her husband are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary, which means they were married on August 29, 1988.
On April 20, 1989 less than eight months after they eloped their first son, Track, was born.
I think I can guess the real reason why they eloped, and it wasnt to save money on an expensive wedding.

“Colmes is scum?”
so why post his blathering...
Any Jew who not only is pro-abortion but also apologizes for Muslim terrorists who want ALL non-Muslims D...E...A...D and Israel wiped off the map; is a sorry excuse for a Jew.
We like Sarah Palin, but let’s not become as bad as the Obama worshippers
Just a vanity. I think Sarah Palin has many good qualities. Conservative, a good mother, not afraid to stand up to people, anti-pork, youthful, etc.
However, she isn’t perfect, either.
Let’s not allow ourselves to fall into the “worship” trap that Obama supporters have done.
You should probably leave this part out. If you didn't tell...we wouldn't ask. Not that there would be anything wrong with that.
lol! Well, I didn’t want to waste your time. Besides, you expressed that so beautifully.
I’ll second that and it’s a urge that happens a lot at my house.
I agree.
In any event, they got married when she was 24, and they had been dating since high school. It hardly fits into the neat category of “slutty teen gets knocked up and has to marry pronto”.
;>
I wish Colmes could at least keep his blog up and make retractions more formal:
[that Colmes Blog Page that vanished ...]

I used to listen to Alan’s radio show on the road just to hear people call in and tell him how ugly he is. He must have heard it thousands of times because he would just shrug it off matter of factly and tell them that there was nothing he could do about that. I wonder if he ever considered plastic surgery. By the way he actually looks worse than that picture on the right but he does look a little better than the one on the left.
Arthur? Your posted link takes me to “404-not Found” at Alan Colmes’ site.
Big whoppie dee do. Even if they baby was conceived before, it didn’t take them years to get married and they’ve stayed married. Why doesn’t Alan talk about how Sr. Obama abandoned his son and spread his seed around with many women?
I think Hannity’s ready for better debating challenges, if such a thing is possible.
“Did you ever want to punch somebody in the mouth?”
EVERY time the dilhole opens his interrupting, d-bag hole.
Monica Crowley appeared on the McLaughlin Group today, taped on Friday or Saturday. She mentioned that her liberal sister (I surmise the one married to Alan Colmes but not sure) was positively affected by Palin, and may consider McCain/Palin.
Technical issues
August 31st, 2008, 1:18 AM EDT
As some of you may (or may not) have noticed, Alan.com has been intermittently going up and down for the past couple of hours. Were working with our hosting provider to determine what the problem issomething, somewhere, is overloading our server, and were waiting to hear back from the system administrator to see if they can help us determine what the issue is.
In the meantime, unfortunately, weve disabled the chat stream since its possible that it is overtaxing the database. Once were able to figure out what the culprit is, well re-enable it (or some alternative).
If you notice anything that seems particularly strange, or if you get any error messages, please feel free to leave them as comments on this postthey may be helpful clues.
Thanks for bearing with us!

Alia: Thanks for bearing with us? Like, um "Thank you for being so very Russian with us? We're really here right now, but pretending we are in a buffer zone to protect Alan."
At least they got married. That’s more than many of us managed to do.
Now we know when Obama becomes president no baby will be born with down’s syndrome—and it won’t be because of the great prenatal care if you know what I mean.
