In her speech in Dayton today, Gov. Sarah Palin announced that she and her husband are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary, which means they were married on August 29, 1988.

On April 20, 1989 – less than eight months after they eloped – their first son, Track, was born.

I think I can guess the real reason why they eloped, and it wasn’t to save money on an expensive wedding.

Of coure Alan Colmes is bitter. In his view, they should have killed the child instead.

I see nothing wrong with people getting married and making things work as a family after they find out they are pregnant, no matter what the circumstances were. It all works out better for the children in the end.

If this is the best they can do, the ticket is in pretty good shape. I don't think too many people are going to be impressed by this "discovery" when the Palins have been married twenty years. If true, it isn't ideal, but as pointed out, it is impossible to know and secondly, even if it were true, didn't they do the right thing?

I'd say the party of John Edwards, Jesse Jackson, and Bill Clinton should stop this nonsense. In a bit of trivia, Nancy Reagan was pregnant when she married Ronald Reagan, and they turned out to be a pretty nice couple! Alan Colmes just makes himself look a bigger fool with this one.

If he'd revealed she got pregnant via turkey baster and because no child needs a dad, he'd get a 7.

Hey Alan, Our Lord said "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" concerning a woman caught in what in the first century was a far more serious situation.

I would suggest that you examine your own life before attacking Gov Palin. That little part about supporting the murder of unborn babies might be a bit of a problem for you.
