huh?
you mean i can’t stay and then blame the president afterwards?
CNN breaking news email:
— Mayor Ray Nagin orders New Orleans evacuated, calling Hurricane Gustav “the mother of all storms.”
Hope and pray things will go ok for them. I hear that there will be no Superdome shelter this time. I assume Ray Nagin and his people decided not to have a shelter of last resort again, to hopefully encourage all to just evacuate out of town.
Hey, Chocolate Boy! You still got some of those bazookas left over from Katrina?
heck with the stadium, they’ll be waiting in line for their ATM with Obabma’s face on it!
And if this thing hits NO with as much destruction as Katrina, Bush will get the blame and the Fed will be expected to pick up the tab for yet another rebuilding of a coastal city setting below sea level. ;-(
If you go back and read the Times-Picayune it was Mitch Landreau who urged people to stay at the Super Dome and actually sent the LANG in to feed them there instead of bringing them out.
In Michael Brown’s upcoming book he will claim that he wanted to airlift the people out, but TSA said no. Brown even proposed stationing a marine on board, TSA still said no.
that’s funny!
i like the table being removed.
Why can’t we go to the football stadium?
Who has the legal authority to order someone out of their home because of some possible natural disaster? Wouldn’t it take a court order of some kind in most states?
People are being evacuated to here East Tennessee.....now. It was on tv news teaser.
Hey Nagin, what about the plan you had last time? Why bother? Just let the buses flood, then blame the president.
Also, make sure you blame Bush for levee breaches, in case there’s another failure where your brother did the repair work.
Tennessee?why so far up?
Nagin makes me ill. New Orleans deserves whatever fate awaits it after re-electing this bumbling racist. But I still hope and pray all its citizens can get to safety.
Probably should have called it today, but better late than never.
Will they get the DEA, National Guard and CA Highway Patrol again if some people don’t want to leave?
