The Democrats are starting to pan John McCain's surprise pick of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his running mate, suggesting that he went a little too far in his search for a game-changing VP.
House majority Whip Jim Clyburn, a South Carolina Democrat and the most senior African American in Congress, told SCETV's Mark Quinn this morning he thinks Plain is a "very risky" choice for McCain.
"I think (her selection) would be something similiar to Dan Quayle," Clyburn said. "Dan Quayle proved to be sort of an embarrasment as a campaigner..."

He said "would be," not could be, then brought up Dan Quayle to link Sarah Palin to him (Quayle), therefore belittling her before she even has a chance to start campaigning.
I have seen more than once example, too, of the Misogynistic Main Stream Media bringing up Dan Quayle in connection with Sarah Palin, trying to cut her legs out beneath her before she even gets started.
Most likely, more of this will come, maybe not in the Dan Quayle packaging. Maybe in the Agnew packaging or something else. But, more misogyny will most likely come.

even Dan Quayle had more experience than bho

That the Democrats are “panning” McCain’s pick isn’t surprising. But Clyburn’s comment that she’s an “embarrassment as a campaigner” is a joke. Clearly he’s never heard her speak, or debate — and there’s plenty of tape around.
She’s actually very bright and articulate (for a white person).

I know, their idiots. And not that there's anything wrong with Quayle, he's a good man. But they don't understand who they're dealing with. This is a tough, woman who took out an incumbent in the primary and a former governor in the general election. She's as politically savy as anyone you can name and she'll destroy whoever gets in her way.

and Sarah has more executive experience than John Edwards. who started running for president as a 2 yr senator

Theyre calling her Dan Quayle or Harriet Myers. Good, keep expectations low. Then all she has to do is hold her own against Biden in the debate and it will be a win. Didn't they learn anything from 2000 and 2004 in the way they treated Bush? His polls went up after every debate he didn't completely bomb.

Gov. Palin can shoot hoops with the best of them. Can you even shoot a Moose?

Clyburro has a nice ring to it.

I hope the analogy sticks. If I recall correctly, GB won the election in 1988 with Dan Quayle.

Talk about projection. Biden is the embarrassing gaffe-machine Veep pick, not Palin. Donkey, looketh in thine own mirror! LOL.
