I have seen more than once example, too, of the Misogynistic Main Stream Media bringing up Dan Quayle in connection with Sarah Palin, trying to cut her legs out beneath her before she even gets started.
Most likely, more of this will come, maybe not in the Dan Quayle packaging. Maybe in the Agnew packaging or something else. But, more misogyny will most likely come.
even Dan Quayle had more experience than bho
This is beautiful. The left wing lunatics are openly acting like lunatics. Life is good right now.
Will Barack Obama tell Jim Clyburn, other elected Democrats, and the Misogynistic Main Steam Media to stop this %&@#?
Clyburn should change his name to Clymer.
They will try to Quayle Palin and it will backfire....oh boy will it backfire. Trying to tag an intelligent, well spoken, and very accomplished woman as Ditzy is unbelievably stupid.....but they will do it anyway cuz its all they got.
>> “I think (her selection) would be something similiar to Dan Quayle,” Clyburn said. “Dan Quayle proved to be sort of an embarrasment as a campaigner...”
That the Democrats are “panning” McCain’s pick isn’t surprising. But Clyburn’s comment that she’s an “embarrassment as a campaigner” is a joke. Clearly he’s never heard her speak, or debate — and there’s plenty of tape around.
She’s actually very bright and articulate (for a white person).
Gov. Palin can shoot hoops with the best of them. Can you even shoot a Moose?
Even Dan Quayle wasn't "Dan Quayle". The MSM intentionally made him appear to be a fool.
They can't get away with that anymore. In addition, Biden actually is a fool.
The MSM and the talking heads may look at Sarah Barracuda and see "Dan Quayle", but I see Claire Boothe Luce with a shotgun.
South Carolina Ping
Add me to the list. / Remove me from the list.
Is Clybrn also on record with nasty remarks about Hillary? Could be useful.
Ummm... wasn’t Clyburn due for a trial or something?
During WWII, the Japanese thought they could also break the will of the American people. They found out different. They found out that when the American people want something, and if it is the best for our country, we will stand up to anybody. The democrats will try and rip Palin apart but she has our people on her side. Democrats will find out what real Americans can do now.
Rachel Maddow also referred to her as “Danielle Quayle” yesterday.
It may be that Palin’s personal qualities will counteract these attacks. No offense meant against Quayle, but he hadn’t a lot of charm. The media not only enjoyed attacking him, they also got away with it. Palin, I think, is going to be a more sympathetic sort.
And in the end, she and McCain are running against two really awful candidates. Hero and the Girl, vs. the Zero and the Churl. It’s going to be an early night on 11/4.
Clyburn reads the “Dummies”? That’s been their mantra since yesterday: Palin = Quayle. They seem to have forgotten that the Bush I/Quayle ticket won 53% of the popular vote, 40 states and 426 Electoral College votes.
Sounds good to me.
Fun reading. Join the forum and have fun!
MSNBC has some bald heading DNC idiot saying Palin need TWO YEARS to bone up on the national issues.
NBC now saying USATODAYGALOP 33% palin not ready. (67% ready not mentioned)
NBC is BEYOND insulting to all of america. NBC is full whore mode of obama talking points of “high risk” and ordinary america is not good enough to run DC. US CITIZENS NOT WELCOME INSIDE BELTWAY.
what next NBC, mom and apple pie are eeeeeevil plots?
(just love the fact Scarburough and Minka were played and humiliated on national TV by the McCain camp)
Clyburn is clearly in panic mode because he realizes that his bro just lost the election because of the Palin pick.
>I have seen more than once example, too, of the Misogynistic Main Stream Media bringing up Dan Quayle in connection with Sarah Palin, trying to cut her legs out beneath her before she even gets started.<
Yep, and the Democrats are just desperate to gloss over Obama’s glaring inexperience. Democrats always pick highly experienced candidates for presidential/vice presidential office. They picked John Kerry and his VP pick was the highly experienced John Edwards, after all.
