Fowler Fouls: *Hurricane is God's Favor to Democrats*
Redstate ^ | August 30, 2008 | absentee

On a plane from Denver to Charlotte following the Democrats' convention, I found myself seated behind former National Chairman of the Democratic National Committee Don Fowler and Congressman John Spratt of South Carolina. Their conversation was interesting to say the least.

For example, they made fun of Sarah Palin for several minutes, Fowler calling her "Dan Quayle" on steroids and Spratt creatively describing her as "just terrible." They both agreed that, "Other than the simple fact that she's a female," she has nothing to offer.

Then there was this gem of a moment from Fowler:

So you see, it's funny. That New Orleans will get a hurricane. That's funny because it is due to hit when President Bush is scheduled to speak. Isn't that cool? Fowler isn't the only one who thinks so, just ask Michael Moore.

We all know Democrats used and use Katrina as a political football as callously as possible. Here's a candid moment showing some can hardly wait for another one.

They believe in a God that sends hurricanes to destroy people’s lives and properties so that democrats can blame it on republicans and get elected to political office.

Of course when “right wing fundamentalists” cite the “will of God” for AIDS and muslim-nation destroying earthquakes and tsunamis, the same people are appalled that anyone would worship such a vengeful God much less put His name on currency.

This is part of the doctrine of the the Church of Pope Pelosi, and reflected in the Gospel of Job..

Today’s homily is completed, go in peace.

I am glad he finds it so funny. I just turned on the TV to see everyone evacuating and worrying whether or not their home will be there when they return. Ha Ha. NOT

Just when I think they cannot get any lower.

If he is right then they shouldn't even allow republicans to exist...or they could call Gods wrath down upon any place they congregate. It's a logical extension of the statement.

Once again the democrats tolerance and love of diversity and compassion is on display for all to see.

If were any real justice, Fowler would be applying for parole about now for all of the dirty money laundering he did for the Clintonoids and the DNC.

He is a slimey creep's slimey creep.

Did you interrupt them to ask how funny it will be for the people in it’s path? Just curious.....

Just remember back when Katrina hit. Who was there to step in and help and who was it that whined and pointed fingers?
When the fruits got squeezed we saw either fresh juice or or putrid liquid flow out. Round 2 coming soon for all to see.

Fowler calling her "Dan Quayle" on steroids

That is really a left handed compliment.

I guess he forgot (or never knew) that Dan Quayle was elected as part of the George H. W. Bush ticket where he served as the forty-fourth Vice President of the USA for four full years.

I haven't been able to find any reference to Don Fowler being elected to any national office.

Dan Quayle also had a distinguished career in Congress setting some election records along the way and decisively beating Birch Bayh, one of the Democrats' congressional stars of that era:

Dan Quayle (from Wikipedia)

"In 1976, Quayle was elected to the U.S. Congress from Indiana's Fourth Congressional District, defeating eight-term incumbent Democrat J. Edward Roush.

He won reelection in 1978 by the greatest percentage margin ever achieved to that date in the northeast Indiana district. In 1980, at age 33, Quayle became the youngest person ever elected to the U.S. Senate from the state of Indiana, defeating three-term incumbent Democrat Birch Bayh.

Making Indiana political history again, Quayle was reelected to the Senate in 1986 with the largest margin ever achieved to that date by a candidate in a statewide Indiana race. His 1986 victory was notable because several other Republican Senators elected in 1980 were not returned to office."

Not too shabby at all!

If Fowler truly believes that Palin has nothing to offer except for being a woman, he’s truly unqualifed for his position. If he doesn’t realize that Palin has just united the conservative base and brought in a lot of disinterested voters, he’s a moron. But I guess that’s obvious.

Yuu know, we could just as easily say that Hurricane Gustav is God's wrath upon the "Southern Decadence 2008" gay festival taking place in New Orleans this week. But, we wouldn't say that...

I agree that’s not the right thing to say, but none of us are former RNC chairs.

“former RNC chairs”

Well, capital “C” Chair, not the furniture.

Katrina and the whole disaster that took place was the fault of the Dems. They brainwashed people in Louisiana to expect hand outs from the almighty and divine state, then the wind blows the roof off the welfare plantation. They still think the government is going to step in and rebuild after a whole year. I remember Bill O'reilly awhile back mentioned that they should show videos of Katrina to children to show what will happen if they depend on the government.

If we get a hurricane heading up here in the NE I'm just going to take off. I'll hitchhike if I have to instead of waiting for Chrome dome to help. Their programs haven't even helped at all.

only 246 views when I looked. More people should see this.

Well, I just emailed the link to my entire address book, with one or two exceptions. If everyone did that, the news would spread.
