Sarah Palin wasnt REALLY pregnant its her daughters child.
This popped up on a Daily Kos diary and has unfortunately been repeated by bloggers who should know better. The rumor is a weird reversal of the John Edwards story, only this time, critics refute Palins maternity. Supposedly, so the story goes, the baby really was their eldest daughters (currently in high school), and not hers. The proof? At six months, Palin didnt look pregnant, and supposedly her daughter had mono and took some time off from school. Thats it.
This is, simply, despicable. Babies born to teen mothers rarely have Downs Syndrome anyway, whereas the possibility for that with a mother in her 40s is about 1 in 20. Athletic women sometimes do not show until late in the pregnancy. The whole rumor rests on the notion that the states most visible woman could carry out a fake pregnancy in front of the press while simultaneously hiding her daughter, and then pull a switcheroo and for what possible purpose? To cover up a teen pregnancy, in this day and age? Give me a break.
The picture below was published at the end of February, and she certainly appears to be significantly wider than we saw yesterday on the dais.
If this is what the opposition comes down to, McCain made the wisest possible choice, and in the process exposed the opposition in a way that could never have been possible with any other running mate.

I completely understand what you are saying... With my first child I went into pre-term labor, but all I felt was a little “off”, like something was wrong. My doctor brought me in right away and the monitor showed I was having contractions I couldn’t feel (due to how small the baby was at that time).
However, with the risk of TMI coming into play — sometimes that late in pregnancy one can THINK they are leaking amniotic fluid when in reality it’s urine as well. It’s not like she was in some uninhabited isolated place when this was going on either. She was in contact with her doctor throughout the day.
Besides, we are all speculating on this, really. Only Sarah herself knows how she was feeling, and if she and her doctor were in touch and felt all was within acceptable risks it’s OK with me. Hell, we don’t know - she may have had a stethoscope with her and monitored her own child’s heart-rate, ya know??? (Not likely, but it just goes to show that there are so many variables here, that we should probably just drop the speculation at this point).
Another thing that occurred to me about this — aren’t democrats supposedly the ones that are very big on home delivery (not with doctors and hospitals). Aren’t they the ones that always talk about how a “mother knows best” her own body?
Again, to them it’s all JUST WORDS.
When I first saw this I thought it was nonsense. But I decided to look into this to suit myself. Some of the photos I find troubling and her flying back to Alaska after the reports of pending birth I likewise find troubling. I did see a photo of the daughter and it looked to me like she could have been pregnant.
This story isn’t going to go away and I’m a McCain supporter and especially Palin but if it blows up, it will wreck the campaign. We need to get on top of this right now before it comes unglued and we have a repeat of the Eagleton experience in 1972.
Here is a family photo said to be taken six weeks prior to birth.

We don’t want a repeat of the Edwards fiasco. Knock it down now. I’m on your side. Let’s get it done now.
I forgot a question as well...
I’ve heard it told both ways — one that she did NOT get tested for Down’s because it wouldn’t have changed her plans anyway (therefore taking away the diagnosed angle). And, another that she did know and still didn’t change her plans...
Does anyone know for sure whether or not she (the baby) was indeed tested?
Shoot... another thing I forgot — there is a difference between fetal distress and ACTIVE LABOR. One you may not be aware of as you can’t FEEL the baby’s heartbeat, the other, ain’t no way to mistake ACTIVE LABOR???
BTW, I’m not concerned about “Troopergate.” But this concerns me. Let’s knock it down now!
Do you know that the uterus is behind the pelvic bone and NOT where your stomach is??? This is CRAP! If they were really trying to hide a pregnancy do you really think she wouldn’t be standing behind something???
People seem to forget that it’s not like the Palin’s live in some vaccuum. Where are the doctors coming out and saying that Palin wasn’t admitted to the hospital. Where are the nurses saying that they delivered her daughter’s baby (surely they aren’t all Republicans who are in love with Palin).
I suggested yesterday that when the Dems lose this election, BDS would be replaced by PMS - Palin McCain Syndrome. (I know it's McCain Palin, but MPS wouldn't work!_
Hey, it’s their job (insofar as they comprehend that sort of thing) to attack our candidates. The quality of their arguments makes it hard to take them seriously.
What is serious is when they do the reporting. I have no confidence anymore, in anything I get from the MSM. The most basic facts get turned to hash.
Are Dems still big on “home delivery?” I don’t think so. I think their preferred brand these days is abortion or infanticide “with dignity.”
Great minds think alike.
And so do ours!
Cheers!
Exactly - so enamored are they with celebrities that they believe life really is like what is portrayed in the movies! This is all nothing more than a desperate ploy.
LOL!! Desperate Housewives— That’s it!
Inane sitcom strategery.
Maybe they can dredge something up from reruns of ‘Murphy Brown’—or ‘Mork and Mindy’....or ‘Alf’.
Too funny...
“Some of them are actually saying she is a coward by not ‘dealing with the right choice’ and aborting it.”
Oh really - is that in the Communist Manifesto, do you know?
I can’t wait to see Sarah take on these people. This is gonna be so good - I haven’t stopped smiling yet!
SWEET!!!! THANK YOU! I knew there had to be a few pictures out there like this! :)
Yeah, there’s a family photo where the 16 year old (according to the moonbats) ‘has big boobs and a gut’.
Yes, I agree with you and what you say is logical. But you can do a Google and see it is all over the internet. This gives further details about the plane trip home. Let’s not sweep this under the rug because it won’t stay there if there is anything to it. Knock it down now. We don’t have the luxury of many days before election day. The last thing I want to see is Obama getting the presidency by default.

Those are good photos. Let’s keep digging and knock this thing down.
The reports I read, all said she knew beforehand, via amniocentesis.
Fetal distress, you need a monitor to determine. I’m no physician but I don’t think it has anything at all to do with the status of labor. For example, the monitor would tell if the baby’s heart rate was not what it should be.
The news reports indicated four factors that should have indicated immediate precautionary measures:
*mother over 40
*baby with Down’s
*water breaking
*weeks before due date
And you add to that the chances of quickly delivering your fifth baby, while being a few thousand miles from your doctor who is most familiar to you and with you. I would high tail it home and to h. with the speech.
I’m NOT sweeping this under the rug, but perhaps, in order to bolster your position (that you really are on OUR side) you may wish to offer some suggestions about HOW to counter this.
All you keep saying is “Oh Noes” this is HORRIBLE, we’re DOOMED!!! All the while betraying that no matter your words you are BELIEVING this crap!
I do offer my sincere apologies if you really ARE on our side. However, over the last 24 hours I have dealt with so many TROLLS that I’m not in a generous mood to give the benefit of the doubt to too many people — even if your sign-up says you’ve been here as long as I have.
So would I personally, however I am not Sarah Palin. Even if in our opinion she made a poor choice it doesn’t mean their accusations are true.
