Sarah Palin wasnt REALLY pregnant its her daughters child.
This popped up on a Daily Kos diary and has unfortunately been repeated by bloggers who should know better. The rumor is a weird reversal of the John Edwards story, only this time, critics refute Palins maternity. Supposedly, so the story goes, the baby really was their eldest daughters (currently in high school), and not hers. The proof? At six months, Palin didnt look pregnant, and supposedly her daughter had mono and took some time off from school. Thats it.
This is, simply, despicable. Babies born to teen mothers rarely have Downs Syndrome anyway, whereas the possibility for that with a mother in her 40s is about 1 in 20. Athletic women sometimes do not show until late in the pregnancy. The whole rumor rests on the notion that the states most visible woman could carry out a fake pregnancy in front of the press while simultaneously hiding her daughter, and then pull a switcheroo and for what possible purpose? To cover up a teen pregnancy, in this day and age? Give me a break.
The picture below was published at the end of February, and she certainly appears to be significantly wider than we saw yesterday on the dais.
If this is what the opposition comes down to, McCain made the wisest possible choice, and in the process exposed the opposition in a way that could never have been possible with any other running mate.

Even if was true, I would respect her more for protecting her daughter and NOT TERMINATING the pregnancy.. God bless Gov er Vice president Palin!
Didn’t Blood of Tyrants call this yesterday here on FR? If not exactly, then pretty close I believe. Unbelievable.
But then, those at the Kos are a bit short on genetic material themselves.
It’s hard to imagine the Democrats sinking any lower than they already have. Just when you think they’ve hit rock bottom—they surprise you and manage to sink even lower. There’s just no limit to the depth of human depravity.
This should be fairly easy to refute. Wasn’t Palin in the paper or on TV in March or April?
Did the daughter “look pregnant”? No mention of that.
I don’t worry about what the Left says. We’re smarter and more competent than they are.
I agree altho the nutjobs are out of meds and are just being themselves again. No news here.
Let them.
The more idiotic comments that they keep making about her, the more they’re showing their own collective a** to any voter paying attention to this.
You can tell they’re desperate. It absolutely REEKS of desperation. They’re throwing every ounce of crap they can find against the wall and hoping that something sticks, no matter how vile and disgusting it might be.
The Dems are such idiots. All of this is going to result in one of the all-time political backlashes against Obama and his supporters.
You know what my favorite irony is? Barack Obama makes a big deal about his ability to shoot a basketball. Sarah Palin was point guard and captain of her championship winning high school basketball team.
You really don't think that a little thing like that would deter the maniacs from suggesting it. I'm bored with anything left. I got things to do.
Soros’ band of Marxists are in the full panic mode right now. Their plan with the arab guy isn’t going as scripted.
What do you expect from people who think steel doesn’t melt?
Like nobody would notice which one was pregnent?? They are mad that a Downs Baby wasn’t killed in the womb. Face it, abortion is all about selection of the perfect race.
Pray for W and Our Troops
It’s not only her daughter’s baby...
It’s Bush’s Fault!!! :D
Even if true, who could possibly care?
Expect much more of this gutter-level slime from these hate-filled, anti-American cockroaches.
The single greatest risk factor to having a baby with Down’s syndrome is maternal age greater than 40. That Sarah Palin had a Down’s baby in her 40’s is sad, but not unexpected. For her daughter to have a Down’s baby in her teens would be very unexpected. This doesn’t pass the medical smell test.
Palin to Obama - ‘’ How about b-ball, one-on-one, you-and me, for the presidency?’’
