Bree sent her pregnant daughter away and then faked a pregnancy. When the baby was born it was hers. The Rats are trying to subconsciously suggest that Sarah is another Bree.
Never underestimate what Rats are capable of. Also, it’s extremely rare for a teen to have a Downs Syndrome baby. Most are born to women in there 40’s. Don’t expect the general rats to know that though.
