This was addressed on another thread.
It's a matter of military pride....that perhaps civilians don't comprehend.
Any soldier will want to look sharp to greet a visitor if he(she) is able.
Understood.
Had the same thoughts. Why didn’t they picture her with him in rehab?
I’ll let you do the legwork/checking here.

Palin has more executive experience than McCain, Biden and Obama combined. All they have done is write laws...and that is not executive/governing experience
Thank you Senator McCain....we love VP Palin...she is tough and honest and principled
That’s very logical. ;)
Hi, Mam.
I believe it’s because she is really as mentally sharp as a razor and inside is reaching the point where she cannot do the Dem speaking points shtick any more. She knows that the arguments liberals make begin from a point of illusion, travel across a terrain of misdirection, wishful hope and downright deception to reach a destination intellectually uninhabitable by reasonable humans. If she is not yet playing a part, that status is rapidly coming. I believe we might one day see an on-camera conversion as she simply drops the pretence and starts speaking rationally just like she was always capable of all along.
Are you referring to Julie Banderas? If so, that surprises because of all the Fox hosts, she’s the one most in the tank for the Dems. It gets positively painful to watch her try to coyly insinuate Dem talking points into discussions.
And yes, she is dynamically brunette and extremely easy on the eyes. Just more proof that a woman must be beautiful to her bones to be attractive at all.
I disagree. Kirsten Powers is the one fair Democrat commentator on TV.
Hadn’t picked up on that. Just liked her downhome voice and the fact that she wasn’t a cookie cutter blonde.
I just looked her up on Wiki. She’s from the NE, not Carolina, so it’s likely I’m offbase about the identification.
I hold to my comments about Banderas, however.
Nope. That’s not her, I’ve seen her and was not favorably impressed.

Accent is Old Dominion, not Carolina. But she's definitely a GRIT.
I mean a GRITS. Girl Raised in the South.

That’s one I’ve never seen, so can’t say. I’ll take your word for it, though.
List is a bit old at that website, isn’t it?

The second most viewed thread is way less popular than the thread about Palin.
“Obama, whose U. S. Senate seat is barely warm, is calling Sarah Palin inexperienced.”
How many DAYS has Obama actually sat in that seat this past year? Let’s not say that he has 2 years in.
Wiley chess master John McCain has just tricked the Obamaniacs into making experience the main issue.
Talking to a friend last night, who has a democrat history, and I asked her: “Who would you rather have learn on the job: Your President or your Vice-President?”
She lowered her eyes at first, but then she stepped up bravely to the plate. She’s a smart lady. She said, “My Vice President.” And she knew full well what she was saying.

Yup...
I suspect that McCain was aware of this situation, and was at least dimly aware how easily this “experience” issue would trip up snObama.
You were very, very astute in being so gentle with your friend. You encouraged her to think, and usually in discussions like this, that is extremely tough. She also should be congratulated with her honesty.
I think that one way and another this same process is going to occur with many people during the next two months.
Political jujitsu of the highest order, and I must commend John McCain, who really, I don’t like but now will work for electing.
