Like I said a long time ago, If obamawama were to be elected POTUS, he would owe his soul to so many people that he would not be able to go to the toilet without asking.
Bartiromo gave a similar look to Valliere that you described Brit Hume giving Mort Kondracke.
Yet Valliere said this with a straight face.
I wish I had been on the program so I could tell him that by his standards Madonna Ciccone was the most qualified candidate for the presidency.
Same here. And let me throw in the fact that if McCain/Palin win (as I think they will), Hillary will almost certainly be the Democrat nominee in 2012. The likelihood is also strong that McCain will not run for a second term (he'll be almost 80 by then) is almost certainly a one-termer so the likelihood so Palin would be the likely GOP nominee. Running as an incumbent vice-president and supported by an energized GOP base, she will be very difficult for the Shrew (who herself will be 65 at that time) to beat.
On the other hand, if McCain/Palin loses, it might be several election cycles before the GOP can get back in the White House.
So it is very important for those of us (myself included) who may not like McCain very much to support the ticket now that there is actually somebody on it worth voting for so that the future of the GOP can be assured (and that the Clintons will be kept out of power).
Great tag.
Good job on that!
“These arrogant males are trying to raise the bar for Palin while lowering it for Obama is pissing women off no end.”
Guess which voters are going to determine the outcome of this election?
” Yesterday, feeble minded Mort Kondrake said that Obama had more experience than Gov Palin because “he’s been running for president”. Brit Hume looked at him like his brain fell out of his head. But Mort was ‘series’. Obama’s experience he says, is that he’s been running for POTUS for three years.”
Saw that and was surprised that Mort was that blatant about it. He’s appeared to tone down some lately, but this put him right up there with Juan Williams, who I’m still trying to figure out what he’s up to.
At one point he’s proud of Obama as an African American, and on the other he disses his speeches (content). Also he keeps the Hillary flame burning, although he knows it has extinguished.
I guess this is what happens to you when your emotions rule your mind...............
What did Cokie Roberts say?
McCain has a genius on his campaign. I suspect "Rove the Magnificent Bastard"
I don’t know about bashers. As a Fredhead, I’ve been in mourning for months, and while I certainly was going to vote for McCain, early on with his “gentlemanly” campaigning style and bad birders stance, I was poking the hole with my nose held. I figured Romney or some other same-old same-o would be veep, and we’d go down to defeat based on election fraud in PA and OH.
Now, I think the whole west unpolluted by Californians is leaning our way, and the MSM and Obama campaigns are going to end up looking like crap each time they attack the Gov.
Moose poop ... a big steaming pile, fresh from Alaska & compliments of VP Palin. :-)
I hope you are very young. The MSM is in an everlasting struggle to be more disgusting regarding its coverage of politics...and has been for all of my 57 years. Sometimes they set a record for disgusting behavior. Other times they fall short but redouble the effort.
I found an 11 minute clip of that interview on CNBC's website. Here's the link. The interview was very good. Palin is a well spoken lady who does her homework. I didn't hear any ummmms or ahhhhhs or uh-uh-uhs anywhere. She speaks at a good pace and makes her points very clearly. The debates are going to be fun, I think. In the interview Palin says that Biden and Obama are a little bit naive thinking that we can just go to "renewables" at the drop of a hat and end our dependency on oil.
She is well-capable of studying up on international issues, and she certainly has the aptitude to do it much better than Mr. Barack Ummm Obama.
So, the Democrats can toss all the sexist crap around that they want. I think she will kick their asses during the debates and public appearances, and most importantly, she will impress the voters as a fresh and intelligent voice on the ticket.
No. McCain has changed his.
Concise. And to the point. Bravo. :-)
