Now I'm voting for Palin and that guy on her ticket.
Well, it would be great if, along with Palin we could get new, fresh blood into those chairs occupied by Fred and Mort et al.
“...feeble minded Mort Kondrake said that Obama had more experience than Gov Palin because “he’s been running for president”. Brit Hume looked at him like his brain fell out of his head. But Mort was ‘series’...”
I saw that, Kondracke was jabbering like an organ grinder monkey...he would have been hopping up and down if they all had been standing...
Britt retiring is a huge blow, he was the best Anchor I’ve ever watched, his show was required viewing.
It not only pleases Conservatives such as us, but it also puts the Democrats in an impossible position.
Here are my new tag lines, soon to be bumper stickers.
Palin = Checkmate
Palin 2012
Palin, the Antibama.
Looks like Mort Kondracke has returned to the Democrat fold. Too bad, too. I kinda liked the guy when he saw the light after 9-11.
I think that scenario is playing out all over America right now. Give it a couple of weeks and Obama will be facing a historic meltdown.
Oooooh I like those taglines. Do I have to pay usage fees if I swipe one or two?
She's a Hottie!
(Someone needs to add Palin to the "Theirs vs. Ours" Women poster...)
Cheers!
Yeah. Harold Stassen, Norman Thomas, and Ralph Nader are probably the most experienced presidency seekers.
Thomas was a socialist and Nader was/is a greenie. Poor old Stassen - who knows?
*** Britt retiring is a huge blow ***
He’s RETIRING? I hadn’t heard that. And That stinks.
LOL. My dog just jumped up and ran out of the room in fright.
“I havent seen much from the McCain bashers on FR since this pick. Have they changed their tune?”
I wouldn’t call myself a “basher”, but I think you’d be hard pressed to find someone who has been more consistent in his opposition to Sen. McCain than yours truly.
The selection of Gov. Palin went well beyond my expectations. Politics rarely shocks me. This shocked me. With one fell swoop, Sen. McCain changed this election completely and gave conservatives a future to rally around.
Sen. McCain didn’t just offer conservatives an olive branch. He dug up the whole bloody tree and handed us an ownership stake in the olive grove.
Although I was and to a certain extent still am an opponent to Sen. McCain’s candidacy, I really do try to be honest. At a certain point I have to ask: what the heck more do I expect out of this guy? What more could he do to signal that he indeed gets it?
I got more than I expected: an outstanding V.P. candidate with little baggage and a good future. A future American Margaret Thatcher. I don’t intend to spurn the offer. And I don’t intend to cut off my nose to spite my face.
So while I might not like Sen. McCain’s politics, I think it’s high time for me to shut my trap about it.
Have they changed their tune?
Probably. I remember the euphoria here over Arnie's rise in California, before we got betrayed as usual. I don't see this here, and, in fact, am hoping for a Maggie Thatcher in the making. Unless the lady comes out for Amnesty, I'll pull the lever for McCain. I surely would have gone elsewhere otherwise, as I am done with the "lesser of two evils" baloney.

After the elections, he will do part time stuff like Fox News Sunday occasionally..
“Obama’s experience he says, is that he’s been running for POTUS for three years.”
I know that looking for a job is a job in itself. If Mondrake is trying to say that, fine. But if he is trying to say that running for office is part of the experience, then it’s a classic liberal line since the Democrats can’t tell the difference between leading and campaigning, as well as working and politicking. To them it’s one and the same.
I’ll only speak for myself. A few months ago, I had decided to leave the Presidential Electors line blank on my Oklahoma ballot in November. Oklahoma is still a very safe State for any Republican nominee, so it was a safe decision.
However, a lot of the crap that has come out about Obama that is credible, and in my opinion proven to be true, is terrifying to me. Accordingly, a month or two ago, I decided to play it even safer and vote for McCain.
I’ve posted here that McCain’s VP pick would not influence my vote, and it doesn’t. Even so, having Gov Palin on the ticket makes me very comfortable with my vote for McCain. I am confident that if he dies in office, we will be in good hands.
None of that changes my mind about McCain and his positions on immigration and campaign finance reform. After he is elected, I will go after those positions with full force.
someone is paying attention!
Women never do thet, NEVER.
O-Mama!
