I’ll only speak for myself. A few months ago, I had decided to leave the Presidential Electors line blank on my Oklahoma ballot in November. Oklahoma is still a very safe State for any Republican nominee, so it was a safe decision.

However, a lot of the crap that has come out about Obama that is credible, and in my opinion proven to be true, is terrifying to me. Accordingly, a month or two ago, I decided to play it even safer and vote for McCain.

I’ve posted here that McCain’s VP pick would not influence my vote, and it doesn’t. Even so, having Gov Palin on the ticket makes me very comfortable with my vote for McCain. I am confident that if he dies in office, we will be in good hands.

None of that changes my mind about McCain and his positions on immigration and campaign finance reform. After he is elected, I will go after those positions with full force.

“I’ve posted here that McCain’s VP pick would not influence my vote, and it doesn’t. “

Me neither. I was going to vote for McCain/XYZ. But many of us have turned from grim, resolute, dutiful Republicans, pulling for McCain to stop an ObamaNation, to happy, hopeful, excited Republicans, pulling for McCain/Palin to start rebuilding and laying the path for future conservative Republican governance.
