I have watched excitement among professional, mature, experienced women turn into red hot anger as male Obama apologists try and claim Palins experience to be Commander-in-Chief (more elected years in office, more executive years in office, years commanding troops, years running a business) is less than Obamas community organization and speech making. These arrogant males are trying to raise the bar for Palin while lowering it for Obama is pissing women off no end.
This, gents, is why women want to break the glass ceiling and bury this crap once and for all. And the more the media and men (left and right, btw) set up two tracks on experience which is completely tilted for Obama - and it is mostly men tilting the track - the more women will throw party allegiance away and realize they can end the millennia of the superior male.
I like our moose-burger eating, gun-toting, business leading woman, mother of 5, Governor of Alaska (while pregnant) VP. The Barracuda and the Maverick will take on the Messiah and the Mouth - and win.
Update: The sick brother-in-law being investigated for driving his squad car while drunk, killing a moose on duty for fun, and possibly abusing the Governors nephew is not going to rally women. Women all have a story of the shunned asshole guy who tried to make life hell for them in an act of petty revenge. And the charge of tasering his child makes contact by the aunt and uncle with police very legitimate. I dont think I have ever been as disgusted with American politics and news media as I have been today.

Actually, I'm quite happy with American politics today. The GOP is rejuvenated and the Dems have been discredited. And you will see Palin cause a major rift in the MSM. You will see older, more centrist female journalists and analysts rip the MSM Obama cheerleaders a new one when they raise the question of Palin and her special needs baby. Already saw that happen with Cokie Roberts today on GMA.
As Mark Levin said. Sarah Palin’s political career was launched as mayor of a small town of 9,000 people. Obama’s political career was launched in the house of an unrepentant domestic terrorist.
Take your pick, America.
If they keep it up, they may drive more Dem woman over to the reds....
I can’t wait for Mr Amtrack to look like a horse’s patootie next to Gov Palin.
The d-rat males are just acting like any cornered rat would act: With thoughtless recklessness in the face of their own impending doom.
Obama has been surrounded by a very evil pastor and a group of evil men. They are the ones putting on this show. It is all a bunch of fluff and pretend.
And Sarah Palin was a private citizen when the investigation of Mike Wooton began. There’s nothing there.
I like her too.
Thanks for posting. BTTT!
This is so much fun!! Everytime the Obamites try to criticize Palin, it comes back and bites them! Let them rave on. It’s just like slapping a porcupine.
Great article!
I’m a male who would eagerly vote for a Thatcher-like, strong conservative woman. I’m not voting for a mate, I’m voting for a leader. Therefore, gender is irrelevant.
Why, oh why, do so many people focus on gender or race? That is the politics of the left! For those of us on the right, competence and ideology are far, far more important.
Well I just went out to the transfer station and a guy got out of his truck and was talking to one of the workers there and the first thing that came out of his mouth was the lousy weather we were having and then he said “how about McCain’s VP pick? The worker started chuckling and then the guy said “I think she’s awesome, just awesome”. I gave him the thumbs up and a big smile.
What is great about this is that I am in Massachusetts and I wasn’t expecting that. It made my day!
And that doesn’t talk about the undercurrent of the election — Get even with whitey. Everyone can see it, hear it, taste it.
Vanden Heuval (of The Nation magazine and a clear democratic policy maven) said such things as "I don't want to bring race into the subject, but . . . " and "I don't want to bring gender into the subject, but . . ." and really dumped on Palin, a fellow female.
You would think she'd be all for breaking through that glass ceiling (but apparently only if it's a democrat). Pretty interesting comments. Never used the word "liberal" but "progressive" quite often. Said the democrat party was fractured and had no winning item.
Brilliant!
