Dem Boykin: Palin 'Affirmative Action' Pick

Of all the criticisms an apparently panicky Dem party has heaped on Sarah Palin in the hours since her selection was announced, Keith Boykin [bio] has come up with perhaps the unseemliest. The former aide to President Clinton has accused Palin of being an "affirmative action" pick.
Boykin, a graduate of Dartmouth and Harvard Law, was debating the selection with Republican Joe Watkins at the end of MSNBC's 4 PM EDT hour. After some preliminary jousting, Boykin dropped his bomb.
KEITH BOYKIN Let me just say something about this choice. The reason why she doesn't help, quite frankly, is because it's an insult. It's an insult to women. I spoke to several women today at the Democratic National Convention who said it's insulting John McCain would pick somebodyan affirmative-action candidate basicallywho is not qualified.

I for one, can not wait to unload on these liberal f—kers when they attack Palin in earnest.
It’s payback time, for years of slander, and they deserve a fabulous interest rate!
Let the orgy of rhetorical long-knives begin!

The Democrat responses are like Keith Richards criticizing Amy Winehouse for being a doper. They pick a community organizer to be President and then tell us that Palin is the affirmative action pick.
That said, I THOUGHT THEY JUST LOOOOOVVVVVED AFFIRMATIVE ACTION.

Affirmative action covers those who are “follicle challenged”?

all these Palin criticisms can only boomerang on Obama. McCain is a shoe-in now!
One may not like the man but if not, one has to appreciate his delegation prowess.
This WILL bring the GOP back together.

It’s pathetic.
Well, it’s the holiday weekend and apparently all the ‘brains’ have decided to leave early and these people are on their own without the usual page of talking points. lol

Considering the guy at the top of their ticket, that was a singularly unfortunate description on his part.

You may consider that absolutely 100% stolen without attribution any time I can work it into the conversation.
Thanks!
