All you have to do is look at the Hillary threads...

Ferraro always underestimates. My guess is that upwards of HALF of Hillary supporters will vote McCain/Palin.

Ferraro just interviewed by phone. Predicted that as many as 1/3 of Hillary voters will switch to vote for McCain because Palin is his running mate.

She may have a better feel for the pulse of the Democrat party than a Republican. If true, then this election is over. I wonder who she will be voting for?

Won’t happen of course, but can you imagine the story it would be if Ferraro introduced Palin at the GOP convention?

I heard her interviewed on Fox.It sounded to me like a commercial for Gov. Palin.

I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if she and Hilary start an underground campaign for McCain.

Expect it to be more than 1/3rd if the Dems keep up their current line of attack on Palin. They’re giving her absolutely no credit whatsoever.

That’s going to infuriate the Hillary supporters, I would imagine, to see another woman treated this way. Moderates and undecideds? They’re going to see it, too.

Keep it up, Dems. They’re setting themselves up for an all-time backlash with this ridiculous, over-the-top criticism of Palin.

This Might Do It for McCain
By Geraldine Ferraro
Former Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate/FOX News Political Contributor

It’s going to be a very interesting campaign. I must say that several months ago I said that it would be great if there was a woman on the ticket — that I felt that John McCain would have to pick someone, especially if Hillary was the nominee. But without Hillary being the nominee it’s really quite equally as important because people are looking for a smart campaign and I think this might do it.

There are a lot of women who are disaffected by how Hillary was treated by the media, by how she was treated by the Obama campaign, by how she was treated by the Democratic National Committee — [Democratic party chairman] Howard Dean not speaking up when sexism raised its ugly head in the media. They’ll be looking to see what happens now.

If Ferraro’s prediction is correct, or an underestimate, than this election will be a landslide. The only question left would be if the Liberal Messiah would be blown out to the proportion of Dukakis or Mondale.

I heard that interview and thought to myself that Ferraro herself might be one of those Dems voting for McCain/Palin.

The Dhims haven't figured out that Gov. Palin has done more to energize the conservative base, than to pull over Hillary voters.

She is a great pick! Her limited experience is frankly a plus in my book. First she's not beholden to anyone, she hasn't learned to compromise, and the moment the Obamaites mention it, they expose themselves to a ten-fold counter charge.

Geraldine Ferraro was attacked by Obama’s goons a few months back for daring to be critical of him.

Methinks she looking for some payback.

Personally I’d say you are looking at at LEAST a third of will vote Palin.

However the exact numbers don’t really matter, what matters is the decades of playing identity politics by the democrats is coming back to bit them on their butts.
