Ferraro just interviewed by phone. Predicted that as many as 1/3 of Hillary voters will switch to vote for McCain because Palin is his running mate. Indicates that millions of women feel Hillary was "left out to dry," never considered for Obama's VP. Says anger at Obama not assuaged by DNC Convention platitudes...
All you have to do is look at the Hillary threads...
Ferraro always underestimates. My guess is that upwards of HALF of Hillary supporters will vote McCain/Palin.
She may have a better feel for the pulse of the Democrat party than a Republican. If true, then this election is over. I wonder who she will be voting for?
Won’t happen of course, but can you imagine the story it would be if Ferraro introduced Palin at the GOP convention?
I heard her interviewed on Fox.It sounded to me like a commercial for Gov. Palin.
I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if she and Hilary start an underground campaign for McCain.
I spent some time over at Hillaryclinton.com today, and the PUMAs are absolutely STAMPEDING over to the McCain campaign. They’re all talking about volunteering, sending money, etc.
Expect it to be more than 1/3rd if the Dems keep up their current line of attack on Palin. They’re giving her absolutely no credit whatsoever.
That’s going to infuriate the Hillary supporters, I would imagine, to see another woman treated this way. Moderates and undecideds? They’re going to see it, too.
Keep it up, Dems. They’re setting themselves up for an all-time backlash with this ridiculous, over-the-top criticism of Palin.

This Might Do It for McCain
By Geraldine Ferraro
Former Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate/FOX News Political Contributor
Its going to be a very interesting campaign. I must say that several months ago I said that it would be great if there was a woman on the ticket that I felt that John McCain would have to pick someone, especially if Hillary was the nominee. But without Hillary being the nominee its really quite equally as important because people are looking for a smart campaign and I think this might do it.
There are a lot of women who are disaffected by how Hillary was treated by the media, by how she was treated by the Obama campaign, by how she was treated by the Democratic National Committee [Democratic party chairman] Howard Dean not speaking up when sexism raised its ugly head in the media. Theyll be looking to see what happens now.

Operation CHAOS 2: RATS in collapse
Hitlery is going to do everything in her power to sabotage Osamabama, without damaging the ‘Rats chances in the Regress.
If Ferraro’s prediction is correct, or an underestimate, than this election will be a landslide. The only question left would be if the Liberal Messiah would be blown out to the proportion of Dukakis or Mondale.

Democratic party meltdown in 3... 2... 1...
Same here; they're going crazy and are energized. That old Godfather quote is worth remembering: "Revenge is a dish best served cold."
And someone described McCain at the announcement as looking like the cat that caught the canary!
I am not a Hillary Supporter, and I can’t stand Rendell from PA (which is where i live now) but it was pretty apparent to all that Hillary was poorly treated by both the media (thrill up my legs) and Obama. His arrogance is appalling. Today, we are hearing nothing but Sarah Palin, and Obama and his Greek columns were knocked off the internet.
I still won’t allow PEPSI products in my home.
