Ws there a reason he did not choose Gov Huckabee?

He had values and experience that any conservative wanted?

Huckabee, now I know you’re kidding. A faker conservative there has never been. I advise you look at what Obama and his ilk want to do to this country and refrain from all the senseless whining. Let’s get behind McCain and stop bellyaching like your favorite movie did’nt win the Oscar. Palin was a solid pick, that’s a fact not even debatable.

Maybe McCain wanted to get elected. How's that for a reason?

You must be a troll.

Huckabee did NOT have truly conservative positions and values, particularly on fiscal issues.

***He had values and experience that any conservative wanted?***

He comes across like to much of a TV preacher, IMHO.

“Was there a reason he did not choose Gov Huckabee?”

Yes, it was the eyes, and his willingness to drop to his knees for a VP slot.

Not for me.

McCain did good today.

We need to keep up the pressure on him, too.

Huckabee was quite conservative, yet so is Sarah.

Sarah however is a woman, scoring with the female vote, and frankly a woman man combination is far flexible in understanding than a man / man combination.

Sarah also is a anti corruption old school politician antidote which sharply underscored McCains Maverick with a purpose, to clean out the useless leadership we now suffer under.

Clearly Huckabee was ineffectual compared to Sarah's fine record of getting so much done in so short of a time.

Which by the way was quite well played with the “easy to sit in a harbor” comment. Barack Mohamad Hussain Obama is all about himself, and has not only accomplished nothing in a longer period of time, but has spend all that time voting present, not yes or no.

Her actions speak louder about Obama's uselessness than any attack ads could ever accomplish.

I would've been happier with Huckabee or Romney ....I'm unhappy with this VP PICK.

Unfortunately I think this will cost McCain the election - not something I wanted to happen

I think the Clinton's are unhappy too because it means Obama's chances got better and Hellary will not have her chance in '12
