From the very little I've read on the subject, I drew the conclusion that the party establishment in Alaska is upset with Palin for whistle-blowing, bucking the career politicians, etc.
Is she really guilty of any malfeasance or is this just sour grapes from people whose toes she stepped on?

Hope your vision is right. I wouldn’t be surprised if Hillary lent some of her poltical advisors to McCain to help with the choice.
I think Hillary and Bill are two of McCains most solid backers.

This is similar to Mondale's appointment of Ferraro; a desperate and stupid move. With barely 18 months experience as governor, Palin is not qualified to be Vice President.

But Barak can’t attack her on inexperience. Neither can the MSM, who support Barak.
And, there were no obvious leading choices, so this seems like a very smart pick, from a political/electability standpoint, to me.

Agree fully. I would say I am surprised, but McCain makes so many idiotic decisions it is just one more. This move will certainly hurt McCain.

There is nothing to that. Its not going to resonate, especially when you see what the situation was about.
