Very few Republicans have made it onto MSNBC air during the networks' Dem convention coverage, but even that is apparently too much for Keith Olbermann. As Chris Matthews was interviewing GOP consultant Mike Murphy in the interlude between Bill Clinton and Joe Biden tonight, Olbermann could be heard off-camera angrily demanding "let's wrap him up, alright?"
It was Murphy's surmise that, in the privacy of the polling booth, Bill and Hilary would pull the lever for McCain that seemed to set Olbermann off prompt him to call for the hook.

I’m in a real quandry about watching Olbermann...I can’t stand him but I’d hate to miss his on-air suicide.
Yup, I think after this convention there is no way msnbc can wag that bony judgmental finger at any other network.
KO is, as expected, to be towing the party line so hard he has rope burn. And (somewhat surprisingly) Matthews is just about as bad.
Usually Matthews gushes in a some what dignified fashion but man I thought he was going to cry on air over what was an average speech..
I watched that live and just assumed everyone on the set was a lib. This this guy starts hammering the rat nominee to my surprise and delight, and then hear some *sshole want to “Let’s wrap him up”.
Thanks for letting me know it (the *sshole) was Olberman.

I saw a list of last weeks top 20 TV shows, The top 7 were the Olympics hosted each night by NBC, then the next 13 shows were CBS. This week, NBC will be back off the list completely.
I’m going to have to tun into his awful show right after the election to see if OlberDork cries!
All politics and kidding aside, I think there is genuinely something wrong with Olbermann. I have a feeling he’s going to go have a meltdown of biblical proportions one day.
I had a bad cable connection for a few months last summer and MSNBC was my only cable news option. I watched a few episodes of Olberman. He was unhinged even then, but I think he couldn’t handle seeing the convention coverage diverge from the Obama-prepared script and is sticking his nose into all manner of places it doesn’t belong.
It is obvious to everyone but the MSNBC brass where this road will end...with Olbermann in a mental ward and NBC in disgrace.
But no, Olbermann is nastier and testier than ever. The only explanation is that even he knows by now that he's watching the Titanic set sail.
I think the FoxNews folks should bait him into that meltdown by saying things like "mental illness is not a joke--we hope Keith gets the help he needs before it's too late".
Keith Olberman was a rotten sports reporter for KTLA in Los Angeles. He is now promoted to a higher level of incompetence.
