I am not sure I can even filter his nonsense through the filter of the brave freepers reporting it as it happens. It will be stunning, no matter what happens. He is either brilliant, or unstable. I suppose he could be both.

It seems the Ayers documents are coming out about 24 hours too soon. It would be just like the Clintons to let Obama take the body blows and then step into the post of Democratic candidate after the dust settles.

Sort of like sitting in a horror flick and just knowing that the slasher is not really dead but is standing just out of the corner of the screen.

Boo.

Obama can’t win for her to realistically run in 4 years.

Who knows what evil lurks in the minds of the Clintons? I waited until her speech tonight before making my prediction. If there was anything to the rumors of BO's foreign birth etc., Hillary would have struck by now. IMHO, he's going to be nominated. All she can do is hope for a McCain victory or, failing that, capitalize on a BO failure in office. Of course, she could certainly help facilitate the later. It's all about 2012 from tonight forward.

It’s just that these live threads are more like a “convention watching party” is all.

I would suggest that in a fast moving thread like this one has been that it is difficult to post something well thought out and substantive. It has taken me forty five minutes to catch up to the end of the thread but then I’ve been sending e-mails to other folks based upon what I saw and heard Hillary say and also trying to read the threads. But then you have already thought this I’m sure.

I really don’t understand why they would do that after her speech tonight. I can understand them working behind the scenes to mess things up so she has a chance in 2012, but not attending THE speech seems way too out in the open, even for white trash Bill and Hill. Why come out and give a speech supporting Obama if you’re going to give him the finger two nights later?

Newly Released Documents Highlight Obama’s Relationship With Ayers
by FOXNews.com
Tuesday, August 26, 2008

Excerpt:

Documents released Tuesday by the University of Illinois at Chicago shed some light on Barack Obama’s relationship with William Ayers, a founding member of the 1960s and 1970s radical group the Weather Underground.

Obama’s association with Ayers, who now teaches at the university, has become an issue in the Illinois senator’s presidential campaign. The Weather Underground took credit for several nonfatal bombings on targets that included the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol, and critics accuse Obama of rubbing elbows with an unabashed 1960s radical.

Obama has said that, although he knew Ayers as a professor involved in community outreach efforts in Chicago, he doesn’t share Ayers’ extreme views.

The massive collection of newly released documents — 140 boxes full of them — includes agendas that clearly put Obama and Ayers in the same room for meetings of Chicago Annenberg Challenge, an educational initiative that Ayers was instrumental in starting and that Obama chaired in the 1990s.

The initiative was funded by $49.2 million from the Annenberg Foundation with the intention of establishing community partnerships that would improve schools.

FOX News was among several news organizations that reviewed the university’s records by appointment. In one agenda, a March 15, 1995, meeting featured Obama making introductions and Ayers giving a briefing.

But more than a year later, Obama pushed the group to be bolder in its reforms, according to the Associated Press, which also reviewed the documents. Minutes from an October 1996 gathering show Obama, a guest at a meeting of the collaborative, raised questions about what the group should be doing.

*kids today having to worry about everything.*

Not many do as they don’t have a clue what is going on.
I asked a young man with a Masters who bombed Pearl Harbor and he couldn’t tell me.
Many college educated people I have talked to did not know the WTC was bombed in 1993

You gotta hand it to McCain’s ad team, they have their ^%($ WAY together these days. ~~~~ They really do ... pleasantly surprised.

Did you see the ad of the Hillary supporter who pulls out the McCain sign and says "for the first time in my life I'm voting Republican! I am voting for experience.." LOL!! I have to admit that I am amazed at the ads McCain has run! They have been creative and pointed= not your usual Republican ads!
