Unfortunately the Communists managed to get their hooks into Hollywood and the MSM long before you were born - unless you are well into your 70's. And they have never let go. Control of the media is the path to political power and so we find ourselves governed by wannabe Socialists/Communists who fortunately have not quite managed the leverage to kill off that evil called freedom and capitalism. This could change with 60 Democrat Senators, a larger majority in the House and Obama as President. It would be their one great chance for a total reformation of the United States. I'm very afraid that they won't pass on that chance if they get the opportunity.
I'd rather wait and have it gain traction gradually. I want to have as shortest period as possible so that if he has to withdraw, confusion reigns. I certainly don't want Hillary to step in at the last moment. Just have Obama badly beaten up with all this.

Exactly, if Hillary walks away from this convention with the nomination somehow, we’ll have a lot of work to do to counter her, I fear. However, if she has to take over for some reason even a few weeks from now, I think it may be a little easier to counter her strength. And, hopefully, if things go “as planned” Obama will get the nomination, and there will be NOTHING they can do about it... Just a huge implosion.

Well that is true. I suppose I should make an exception for a live thread.
But I think, unfortunately, that the "chat disease" is catching on FR and the one- liner postings are getting to be the norm. For me, that means lots of posts that I have to wade through looking for some informed opinion.
OTOH, I love FR. Been here for just shy of 8 years, posted thousands of times and I'm not leaving any time soon.
