Quite true but these days who even needs a paragraph. This forum has become a chat room. 99% of the comments are simply one liners that are not worth reading. Look through this thread and try to find some actual thoughful commentary that might contribute to the cause. It is pretty hard to find. Great entertainment - pass the popcorn. But informative? I'm afraid not.

Another FReeper checked Denver forcast (upthread). Said ‘no chance of rain’ but wouldn’t it just be (almost) biblical (take that Nancy, taunting the Vatican!) if the skies would just open up anyways...

Has anyone else noticed that over the last 4-5 days the media is really letting Obama have it? All of these things that were verboten to speak about have suddenly made it into the papers - the COLB stuff, the Ayers stuff, etc... etc... Makes me even more nervous about tomorrow and Hillary...

I wonder whats going on behind the scenes right now. Hillary looked really good; her peeps are crying that they can’t vote for her; and now they the whole roll call issue to deal with....hmmmmm.

I think she was trying to equate republicans/conservatives/George Bush/ John McCain with clan members and racists! Go look at the speech..it wasn’t so veiled. It was pretty blatant.
It is only going to get worse and that was the best preview yet of what we are going to be faced with from now until November.
I work for a company that makes plastic products, so far with many engineers, we have not found a great product that would replace petroleum.
We still have some pretty meaty threads on a daily basis - although they are not always in the sidebar...
It’s just that these live threads are more like a “convention watching party” is all.
The public put pressure on the Univ. of Chicago .. and it worked. Saying that the relationship between Ayers/BHO is even closer than they knew.
By the way, what does Fox News have on Ayers that is 'breaking?' I am being good and not having TV on to disturb the PaHousehold here...

My guess is that Bill picks up the ‘torch’ theme tomorrow and runs with it. Bad pun, but he is pretty good at the racial warfare.
