The RNC is in Minneapolis/St. Paul. It won't get hit directly by the hurricane, but it will be affected. For instance, if Rick Perry, Bobby Jindal, Bob Riley, Haley Barbour and Charlie Christ are planning to attend, some of them may to scratch those plans, depending on the direction this thing moves.

And let's be honest here - if it lands here as a major storm, it will remind people of Katrina, which is not a great issue for us. This could become a very political hurricane.

A major hurricane will strip the RNC of adequate coverage. It won’t be as good as the ‘Rats are getting right now. This is because a major hurricane takes priority.
