I've just learned that -- unless this thing turns -- the Mississippi DOT will enact contra-flow measures beginning at 8 a.m. Sunday.

That means all lanes of traffic will be headed in only one direction -- north, away from the Coast.

If you recall, Mississippi's Governor, Hailey Barbour had his act together prior to Katrina hitting ashore in Mississippi three years ago..
