"Tasha has demonstrated to women all over the world that they don't have to sacrifice their unborn children to fulfill their dreams. Tasha's three-year-old son, Jaden, was an inspiration to her Olympic goals. The very thing critics said would destroy and derail her hopes was central to helping her fulfill them," said Mattes. God bless her for this!

She did the right thing, but she should be chastised for naming her son ‘Jaden.’

I’ll bet the “Pro-chioce” people aren’t Pro this choice.

gaag...Almost makes me want to puke.
Great for Tasha - and she is to be praise, but was this line for real?
At the time some in the track and field community urged Tasha, touted as one of the U.K.'s best chances for a gold medal, to abort her baby, and the media chastised her when she did not.
What kind of cretins would actually 'urge' someone to make this kind of 'choice' (murder) for a shiny medallion?
Was she really 'chastised' by the media?
I'm not up on this story -- but I hope its grossly exaggerated.

And they're not likely to praise her now.

What a lovely story! Thank you for sharing this. I am so happy for this beautiful and good-hearted young lady that she got to fulfill her Olympic dream in the end as well as doing the right thing and putting her family first.
