After refusing to endorse President Bush's tax cuts when he was governor, Mitt Romney has now made them a central part of his presidential campaign, stirring accusations that he is changing his position to appeal to GOP primary voters. In 2003, Romney stunned a roomful of Bay State congressmen by telling them that he would not publicly support Bush's tax cuts, which at the time formed the centerpiece of the president's domestic agenda. He even said he was open to a federal gas tax hike.
This report flies directly in the face of Romney's economic address yesterday, and subsequent interview on CNBC with Larry Kudlow, and is only going to reinforce a building image of an overly ambitious politician who is a flip-flopper on core issues.

McCain’s done enough flopping around on his own without Slick Willard sliming things up.
Game. Set. Match.
I love headlines like that. ;-D

Ut Oh be carful we know from other threads that if you use MRs own words to show he is a liberal its anti-ldser hate! (sarc)
I keep telling everyone “It will NOT be Romney!” But people don’t believe me.
Wow!
August is the month of conventions
Democrat. Republican. And this one - psychos.
Be sure to clean up before you leave.
I agree. McCain could pick any number of conservatives. He owes nothing to Romney, and though Romney got a substantial amount of votes in the primaries, his support was very shallow with the base. I'm not a big fan of Huckabee, but he did do much better than Romney during the primaries, and he would help with the religious conservatives....something Romney will not do. Romney should go back to Massachusetts and look to run for Kennedy's open Senate seat, which will doubtlessly be in the next year or so. If Romney won that seat, I'd give it no time until most of the folks around here supporting him for the VP slot would be cursing him for his RINO ways.
Your going to make the Mitt Bots very very very angry and label you as a Bigot because you speak the truth about Romney and they will say that you are spewing hatred towards Mormons.
I see all the snakes have gathered in the pit. Par for the course! : )
Beware all. Another anti-Romney thread begins posted by one of the prime movers and shakers of the anti-Mormon movement on FR. Believe any comments made by these religious bigots at your own peril. Maelstorm has been on a role tonite posting anti-Romney threads. He’s on about his 5th one or so now. Going for a new record.
The Mitt haters lie like a rug about Romney, and are proof that conservatives can lie as well as any Liberal. Not a good reflection on conservatives, btw.
I noticed Maelstorm’s rampage. And you are correct. All one has to do is check the Mormon threads for Maelstorm.
Every time I see that picture, I’m left thinking Ted The Swimmer is thinking ‘We got you now, sucker.’
