“Truthers” are simply unable to think critically. I even know an engineer who believes that crap. Unbelievable.
Any reasonable person who read the eyewitness accounts of the plane hitting the Pentagon would be convinced. The truly paranoid might try to contact some of them...

The ability of people to reject reality will never cease to amaze me.
There are some interesting bits of info on tower 7... Including the fact that the collapse of the tower actually happened AFTER it was announced it had collapsed...
And what exactly caused such fires in a separate building?
While I don’t necessarily buy into the “Truther” mentality, there are some still unanswered questions and odd “coincidences”...

Ok, seriouly, didn’t we all watch that bridge in California collapse from the huge tractor trailer fire? The steel doesn’t come out of the ground in a nice building shape, it has to be forged and shaped. How does steel get shaped? By fire. Duh. If fire can make steel compliant and soft to create a form, why can’t it be that fire reduces the strength?
Sometimes common sense goes right out the window when people want to see evil where it’s not.

When the jets hit the towers, each was an explosive impact, and large amounts of office furniture, building materials, humans, paper, as well as components of the aircraft and it’s passengers, were ejected out both sides of the structures, covered in flaming jet fuel.

Sprinklers may have helped, but I doubt it. You have to use foam on an oil fire to put it out.
Exactly, if you try to put out an oil fire in a frying pan with water, say good bye to your house. But, why bother with such a logical argument when you can say somebody saw GWB enter the tower and set the charges.

The second rule is that evidence that seems to support the conspiracy theory but is then shown to rule the theory out or not support it will continue to be cited as support. For example, the famous “Pull it” quote from the WTC 7 conspiracy theory.

No it won't, not by a longshot. Trutherism is a quasi-religion, and the tower 7 fiasco is what set it off.

Kirlin Inc., Rockville MD, “lucky” is an understatement. “We had one guy who was standing, looking out the window and saw the plane when it was coming in. He was in front of one of the blast-resistant windows,” says Kirlin President Wayne T. Day, who believes the window structure saved the man’s life.
According to Matt Hahr, Kirlin’s senior project manager at the Pentagon, the employee “was thrown about 80 ft down the hall through the air. As he was traveling through the air, he says the ceiling was coming down from the concussion. He got thrown into a closet, the door slammed shut and the fireball went past him,” recounts Hahr. “Jet fuel was on him and it irritated his eyes, but he didn’t get burned. Then the fireball blew over and the sprinklers came on, and he was able to crawl out of the closet and get out of the building through the courtyard.”
The conspiracy thing is so stupid. What would have been the motive? All the people had been evacuated. It was just a small building compared to the other ones. There would have been no reason for it.
When I argued with a 'truther' about WTC 7 citing the Popular Mechanics article he said "don't you know PM is in the bag on this", I gave up.
