While it is not unusual for left wing blog posters to do the happy dance when prominent conservatives like Tony Snow or Jerry Falwell pass away or are suffering with deadly diseases, liberal bloggers still find time to ask for death on President Bush on a “Rest In Peace” web post for the late Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones(D-OH) , who died of an aneurysm today. Liberal web forum, Democrat Underground, allowed poster “Taverner”, who has over 1000 postings to the forum, to write on the Tubbs Jones RIP thread the following: “

If there was a god Cheney would have suffered a coma that lasted years. If there was a god Bush would have died choking on that pretzel. If there was a god Wellstone’s plane would have landed safely.If there was a god neither Kennedy would have been killed by the Republican Party.If there was a god US Rep. Tubbs Jones would be walking around today, being the wonderful person and hero that speaks truth to power that we have always known.

Here is a thread on Democrat Underground about the passing of (WARNING: STRONG LANGUAGE AT LINK’S SOURCE) Tony Snow. Here is a thread on the conservative forum Free Republic about the passing of Rep. Tubbs Jones. Moderators on liberal forums have to work over time when a famous conservative dies, because they know how what the posts will end up looking like. These same moderators better start putting that same effort into their sites when anyone dies.

I lurk there, though I do not recall this particular poster. Those who haven’t looked at the site have no idea of the vile postings made about FReepers, the GOP, it’s leaders and Republicans in general, and yet posters there call FR a hate site.
