From McCain campaign:
Please see comment from me on Barack Obamas new ad supposedly running in Georgia:Barack Obamas ad is ridiculous. Because of John McCain, corruption was exposed and people like Jack Abramoff went to jail.
However, if Barack Obama wants to have a discussion about truly questionable associations, lets start with his relationship with the unrepentant terrorist William Ayers, at whose home Obamas political career was reportedly launched. Mr. Ayers was a leader of the Weather Underground, a terrorist group responsible for countless bombings against targets including the U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon and numerous police stations, courthouses and banks. In recent years, Mr. Ayers has stated, I dont regret setting bombs I feel we didnt do enough.
The question now is, will Barack Obama immediately call on the University of Illinois to release all of the records they are currently withholding to shed further light on Senator Obamas relationship with this unrepentant terrorist?
McCain spokesman Brian Rogers
Obviously, CAC is the "owner" of its own minutes and Ayers is the decisionmaker at CAC, i.e., the one who has declined to make them public, even though public funds are involved.
He's a fascist in a red shirt.
....and I want to see a LOT more on his activities with Ayers.
;-/
I don’t know. Obama’s negative ads go a bit under the radar, and I don’t think they get released to the web. Any FReepers in Georgia who have seen the ad referenced?
An evaluation done at the U/Chicago found the Ayers/Obama “school reform” to be worthless. And it was $140 million, not $100 million.
Actually, Obamessiah will say something like “This isn’t the Pentagon bomber I used to know” before tossing Ayers under the bus.
And working with an unrepentant terrorist to waste that kind of money makes Ayers much more than “a guy in my neighborhood” that “I sat on a board with.”
I hope the McCain camp raising this issue helps shine a light on the CAC papers cover-up.
“I could no more disown him than I could disown the rest of the anti-American, radical left.”
Mayor Daley defends Ayers...
Hi PKM.....
......Time to shove it back at the Socialist!....
I worry it is a little premature. I fear a Hillary coup de main that will result in his loss. After the convention.... no holds barred.
.....Brilliant prose, sir! And truthful...
Amen
I remember noticing an Obama ad on TV recently, but honestly did not pay too much attention to it. I will try to keep my eyes open for it now.
I am amazed at how smart of a campaign McCain is running.
Of course Obama’s own words have pretty much written campaign ads for McCain.
There is renewed chatter that Hillary could be the veep pick.
wow! McCain has a pair.
Somebody like Uhbamuh will never admit he made a mistake in any association he has ever had in his life. This is the kind of person who will try to pass off a questionable association by saying something like I might not have befriended somebody like X had I known their stances on things, but I dont regret any association Ive had, good or bad, because they add to kaleidoscope of experience that makes me who I am today.
It’s Oprah-speak!
Now we’re getting somewhere.
Love this!
But wish it was coming out two weeks from now (after Dem Convention). I still fear a Hillary coup with stuff like this.
Still, I am in Chicago - in the midst of all this - and I can tell you that things do not look good for Barack with Ayers. This could be a heavy blow - which is why I wish it was a couple weeks later. LOL
It’s all about timing... hopefully, this simmering scandal of cover-up at UIC will come to a boil during the convention next week. Supposedly, the McCain camp is planning some new attack ads for next week.
Uncomfortable questions for Obama to answer during his coronation would be great fun to watch.
