Sounds like the choirs of angels are off key in Ohio with less than 100 days to go. We can only there is more of this to come.

“Substance” is the politically correct term for “gray matter.”

Since McCain is going to announce his VP choice in Ohio on his birthday, maybe Gov. Strickland will be his running mate choice since Strickland doesn’t like Obama.

Apparently, the Obama camp has told Strickland he will NOT be VEEP.

Ohio is a must win for him. Take Ohio out of the Dem column and the formula for their success is course-level mathematics that the hollow one never achieved.

I read that Gov. Strickland signed some major piece of legislation in Ohio that expands gun rights in the state. Even though he is pro-abortion, how does he stand on other issues? Is he more middle-of-the-road or is he another flaming liberal?

Hmmm, Strickland is starting sound like a Lieberman. That’s a no-no.

Sure would be interesting if Hillary received the majority vote at the convention.

I think Strickland knows the writing is on the wall. Obama is going to be a very hard sell in Ohio. The untold story in Ohio is the latest polls show him only getting 80% of the black vote. Now that is a problem for him. He is also not getting the older white woman vote. He is under performing and it is likely to get worse in the long run regardless of what he does at the convention. I don’t like to count chickens before they hatch but this is starting to have the feeling of a landslide for McCain. Republicans have historically closed well picking up the bulk of late deciders. If Obama does see a huge boost coming out of his convention he is going to have a huge problem.

I’m telling you, folks, Ohio goes in McCain’s win column this November. Many of our state’s leading Dems will not support Obama. (Some even for — get this — racist reasons.) Ohioans know an empty suit when they see one.

"Gov. Ted Strickland has endorsed Clinton and is actively campaigning for her in Ohio, saying last week that he thinks Clinton is by far the more experienced candidate"
I don't like the Hill but I can't disagree with this statement.

Well, yeah but Obama is everything the democrats want in a presidential candidate, a post 9/11 candidate.
He's a black separatist, a street agitator, an Alinsky acolyte and he's just enough of a Muslim to salve the sheeple who demanded to know “Why don't they Like Us?” after 20 muzzies from Saudi Arabia stole a few passenger jets and ran them into the WTC, the Pentagon and a field in Shanksville, PA - killing a lot of relatively helpless air passengers, cops, firemen and office workers.
He's the perfect candidate for the typical liberal who views the world through their prism of childlike hand wringing and feet stamping - demanding that the United States finally gets what's coming to it. You cannot carry on a rational discourse with a liberal because they are pathologically illogical. Liberalism is a mental disorder. Liberalism is a disease in the truest sense of the word.

I am waiting to hear the celestial sounds of my own Governor, 'Fast' Eddie Rendell. The Edster must be pretty pi$$ed that Hillary didn't take the nomination (he did deliver PA for her); and that his arch nemisis. Sen. Bobby Casey (like BHO an empty suit) gets primo convention time (and no speechifying for Eddie). Hmmmm...if Rendell comes out and even says something as benign as he doesn't like the tie Barry is wearing, well then you know there is bigtime troubles with those internal numbers.
