Do we need another “maverick?”
In today’s RINO GOP, being conservative is being a maverick.
*Well, actually we would be, but I needed an excuse to post the above pic.
I like what Craig Ferguson called her: “the naughty librarian.”
She’s not THAT kind of maverick. Palin’s actually conservative. Really, really conservative.
In a word... she’s awesome.
She’s a maverick who has not been afraid to be critical of those in her own party when she feels like they’re doing something wrong.If she is the type of "maverick" that will call the Republicans when they step away from the Conservative values we sent the to uphold, then YES, we need another "maverick".

Palin wants to impose windfall profits taxes on oil producers. Please no.
I support Palin.
Has McCain vetted her yet?
As a PA resident, and just going by what I’ve seen so far, she’s a better pick than Ridge.
I don't know why people ignore her tax-raising past, perhaps because she "looks good". I'm skeptical of her.
One thing we have to focus on is that we HAVE to win this election. Look at the alternative.
I think she would attract crossover votes from unaffiliated, Dem and women. She’s pro life, pro second amendment etc. She seems to be solidly conservative (although I don’t know where she stands on every single issue) whereas some of the other choices are social liberals and we don’t want that.

Governor Sarah Palin Blasts Obama on “Windfall Profits Tax”
The article mentions McCain naming VP this weekend to take away from the haloed one’s trip. If this is the trip to Davos to get Clooney’s money I want that highlighted and headlined. It will emphasize the ethereal out of touch nature of the haloed one. If anything McCain should go to a steel mill (we still have those right?),better yet to the Dakotas to highlight the 40 billion bbl oil fields we are not allowed to explore let alone drill. The contrast with jet setting stars, expats and eurotrash living it up in Suisse with their G4s and limos would be priceless.
It’s about EVs. It’s not about anything else.
She brings none to the table.
I would LOVE for McCain to pick Palin.
Especially because their names look really cool together. ;-)
