...Richard Land, the president of the Southern Baptist Convention. In talking about VP choices with CBS News, Land said that Gov. Palin would be the most exciting VP choice for the Evangelical community....

I think Palin needs more time. Same with Jindal. Maybe in 2012 they can pair up. But I am very loathe to support a president with no military experience.
And your point is......?
Who wants a “mother” who pops babies and lets someone else raise them?
A bit pissy today, aren't you? LOL There's a lot of us "evangelicals" around here who were supporting Duncan Hunter, so you really should paint us all with the same brush. ;o)
Thatcher had a long and storied career as a brass knuckled tory prior to her gaining the PM post.
Palin has 2 years as governor under her belt.
Well, I should be more specific. The self anointed evangelical leaders are really the ones in my crosshairs.
What if she's "the bomb" in the bedroom. That doesn't count? :)
My point is the same as it is with Obama. A 1/2 term white senator would be nowhere close to the dem nomination. A 1/2 term male governor should not be either.
Don’t worry, when McCain finds out that conservatives like Palin,
she won’t even be on the list.
She’s prettier after having five kids, IMHO.
I don’t see the appeal. Well, I see the appeal of Palin, I just don’t see the credentials. Drawbacks: female, governor of a state the GOP gets anyway, not much experience, talks like a mother of teens.
Whatever happened to finding the best qualified? She isn’t even in the top ten.
I agree with you. I almost went with that photo. She’s a quality wine.
I’m glad you posted the pic of her from 1984, though, as I had not seen that one before. Thanks.
LOL! I was just having a little fun with you. You should know better than to leave yourself wide open like that on FR. ;o)
That being said, there is no one any sadder than I am that conservatives didn't back Hunter. He would have made a fantastic President. We let a good one get away. He would have saved America from self destruction with amnesty. Now, we've got two people who both have promised amnesty in the first 100 days of their administration. With a stroke of the pen, we will become the United States of Mexico! :o(
[I'm terrible]
There is some crappy charge against her that she fired her brother in law unfairly which led to another one about her firing her public safety commissioner. The story is all over the net. Here is one report:
Anchorage Daily News
JUNEAU Gov. Sarah Palin on Wednesday said at least two dozens calls were made from her staff members to Department of Public Safety officials questioning the employment of a trooper who went through a messy divorce with Palins sister.
The whole article is here:

No worries. I’m used to trading blows with my anti-catholic evangelical bros here in the religion forum. It’s like arguing with a bunch of schoolgirls. ;o)
Yes. I’m praying that Hunter is ready and able for a WELL FAINANCED 2012 run.....on the Falcon Party ticket.
